Solved Crash and reboot when playing certain games

I usually get random crashes to desktop and BSOD's/reboots when playing Elite Dangerous.
I have all updated drivers...

Any help is appreciated. I hope I captured all the dump files correctly.
If not I can change the settings and create some new ones.

The latest dump file was doing File Operations after which the bugcheck occurred. In the second dump file, the DirectX was involved but the crash occurred because an inconsistency was discovered in a Doubly Linked List. It is possible that some other driver corrupted the linked list and when Windows detected it, Direct X was involved with it.

Now, kindly make sure you remove the highlighted drivers in BLUE i.e. ASUS Bloatware. Asus bloatware is very famous to cause BSOD Problems. If the problems still appear, kindly turn on Driver Verifier according to the below guide -
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Once you turn on Driver Verifier, make sure that you let the system crash for few times. Once you generate some dumps, kindly re-run the SF Diagnostic Tool to upload the latest dump files.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Crazy.

I had a suspicion that it might be the ASUS software.
I will definitely remove that software, and just let the BIOS do its thing by itself (It was some software to manage fans, etc.)

I also have another full kernel dump, but, I guess since you have already pointed out the most likely culprit, I won't upload that.

I will try all of your suggestions and let you know how it goes. Thanks a lot.

I tried to load up the dump file in the windbg, but, I couldn't find the right symbols. Thanks for the analysis.

I never managed to setup WinDBG with correct symbols in one try. I have to try multiple times...

After removing the ASUS software and drivers that I didn't need, the system seems to be a lot more stable. I've had a couple of crashes since, but, all the memory dumps have been 500 MB +.

Any idea on how to get them smaller, or upload something that large? (if any crashes happen again).

Make sure that you are compressing the Dump files in ZIP format. Once the dump files are compressed, you could upload them to either Mediafire or OneDrive or similar file hosters. Once uploaded, post back a link to them.

Good to see that the system is stabilizing.

The information isn't conclusive, there's little information available to conduct a proper analysis. Thus a complete memory dump would be beneficial.

Ok I have changed the System settings to do a complete memory dump. I will upload if it happens again.

Sure thing. Make sure that you ZIP up the Dump file before uploading it to any file-hoster since it might be very big in size.

Marking as solved for now. I haven't had a crash in a good while, and I believe most of the issues were the ASUS software. Thanks.
