Hello everyone!

I am having random BSOD while using web browsers. There is about twelves crash reports in the .zip attached. I analyzed some of them, and I saw some mention of chrome.exe. I switched to Internet Explorer and still had a crash (the most recent one). I tried updating all the drivers I could, but I am still getting crashes.

I also did a memory test with the tool included with Windows 8.1. I don't know if's as good as memtest86, but I didn't get any errors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

Uninstall Avast( Avast Uninstall Utility | Download aswClear for Avast Removal) and test your RAM for eight passes (RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Help Forums). I have a feeling that this is a HW issue. Remove Asus bloatware from your system.

Hi,

thanks for your answer. I think you were right with it being an HW issue. Memtest did a full pass without any errors but detected thousands and thousands of errors on its second pass. I guess i'll open a RMA with asus since its a 2 months old unit. Hopefully they can detect the errors when they receive the unit too?

Thanks again!

Yes, but you can say that you have already tested it with Memtest and that it found errors.
