Hello,

Today I was playing Far Cry 4 when all off the sudden I was prompted by a Windows Error Message. The Error message said that Windows had Run into an error and needed to restart. While this message was displayed a Buzzing Noise was occurring. I'm not sure if this is an Error related to Far Cry only or if its a system wide problem. Any Help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
-Jon

Hi Jon22706 & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

The only dump file present in the ZIP file is corrupt and cannot be analysed :(
Judging from your description, it seems that your hardware is overheating (Most likely GPU). Kindly run the below Hardware Diagnostics and report back what you got (thanks usasma) -
Hardware Diagnostics

Don't run the Hard Disk Diagnostics as of now. Run only Furmark and Prime95 and also post back the temperatures of your system while it is idle and when it is under load.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

My CPU is idling at around 27 Degrees Celsius. When running Prime95 the CPU is staying at around 50 Degrees Celsius. My GPU is idling at around 35 Degrees Celsius. When FurMark is running the card is around 72 Degrees Celsius. I have also reattached a new DM Log.

Hi jon22706 ^_^,

I have analysed the dump file and below has been provided an analysis of the same for informative purposes :-

It's suggests that there is a Hardware Fault in the L1 Cache of the processor. But, I need more dump to confirm this.

I checked your Event log as well and there are various crashes when playing games like Far Cry, Napoleon which are demanding tasks to general Windows Update Failures other crashes etc.

Kindly remove Daemon Tools as well since it is known to cause issues.

See, if you are able to get more dumps. Till now it seems like your CPU needs to be replaced.

Let me know how it goes ^_^
