Solved Uaspstor.sys bsod

New windows 8.1 pc is having a few bsods a day. I have an old external hitachi hdd and a transcend sd reader in the usb 3.0 ports pretty much all the info I have the crashes are completely random and can happen at anytime.

Ran memtest86+ and had zero error's and the pc runs around 32c when the bsod happens. Thanks for your time those who are looking in this.

That hard disk is either in a USB enclosure, or you have a USB device having or causing an issue with a power request down the stack. In either case, this looks like a hardware problem somewhere on the USB bus, although I don't have time to dig deeper at the moment.

That hard disk is either in a USB enclosure, or you have a USB device having or causing an issue with a power request down the stack. In either case, this looks like a hardware problem somewhere on the USB bus, although I don't have time to dig deeper at the moment.

Yes the external hard drive is in a usb enclosure plugged into a usb 3.0 port on the back, the other item using the second usb 3.0 port is a 3.0 sd reader. Should I unplug the 2 devices and see if the problem persists?
