Yeah, the first description is correct. Hyperlinks were appearing for certain words (just one in this case).
So, I ran: rkill, Bitdefender, malwarebytes, and Spybot Search and Destroy. I got nothing except on Spybot. Spybot returned with mostly tracking cookies for ad companies (I could upload the log if you wanted). All green/low threat levels. They appeared in the Quarantine area and I looked up and deleted all the ad related ones.
Can tracking cookies really hyperlink text on another webpage? If all they do is, I assume, track your browsing, then how is that possible? Also, The link disappeared, then reappeared, and is now gone again.

Whoa...okay, I think I figured it out. It
IS this site or some very advanced/irrationally programmed adware that has evaded all detection. Try viewing the page when logged in versus when logged out. If you are logged out you get the hyperlinked text (I'm guessing other keywords would work).
It isn't an ad that pops up when you hover over text. I have seen this type of adware and it's quite obvious. Websites that I have subscriptions too still display ads, etc.
I'm not worried about the drivers for my controller being infected I was just concerned that there were no updated versions.
I don't ever see myself as blaming softwaremaniac and I hadn't tried to install the driver for the X360 controller as you can tell by my first reply
So, first off, I don't know how to update that driver highlighted in red.
The site that was linked to was clearly up-sell garbage for computer ignorant people. Like I posted, only scumbags would sell this software that blatantly lies to you.
