Solved BSODs after waking computer from sleep mode

Hi, I have been getting frequent BSODs after waking my computer from sleep mode. The error names fluctuate but the three that I have seen the most often are "DPC_Watchdog_violation", "Bad_Pool_Header" and "Kernel_security_check_violation". I would greatly appreciate any help in resolving this issue. Do let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks :D

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!

Do your still need help with this problem?
I will be notified if you reply to this topic and will respond within 48 hours.

While waiting for a reply, I have these 4 suggestions:
1. Get ALL available Windows Updates. It may take several trips to get them all
2. Get ALL available, Win8.1 compatible updates from the manufacturer's website.
3. Start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
4. If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Hi Usasma,

Yes I would still like help with this problem. In the meanwhile I will follow up with your suggestions.

Thanks!

Only 108 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 170 to 190 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Your UEFI/BIOS dates from 2012. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the UEFI/BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard. If possible, use the "inside Windows" flash mechanism (if your OEM provides one) - that is much more forgiving than the traditional (floppy drive) flash method.

This device has problems in Device Manager:
WAN Miniport (IP) - OnlineArmor Miniport ROOT\NT_OANETMP\0008 43
Please uninstall OnlineArmor and see if that fixes it.

Most of the BSOD problems in the WER section of MSINFO32 (and all of the memory dumps) point to problems with OnlineArmor also.
Also, please be sure that you have only 1 firewall operating at a time - otherwise there may be conflicts.
In particular, I believe that the Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security also has a firewall of it's own.

You also seem to have an AVG program with a firewall installed - please uninstall it immediately!
You should only have one anti-virus and one firewall installed - as they tend to conflict with each other and can cause BSOD's

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
