Hey guys,

Just joined these forums because I have had ongoing bluescreen and freezing issues with windows 8.1, I just flashed the bios on my system to the recent version to eliminate that as the issue. I would appreciate any help, seems to be no rhyme or reason to my crashes.

You have experienced the System_Service_Exception bug check. This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code.

Furthermore, the process at which the system crashed is the "DWM.exe" which is the Desktop Window Manager which manages the painting and all of the desktop.
Below is a list of 3rd party drivers present on the system :-

I would suggest you uninstall the current ATI Drivers present on the system using the Display Driver Uninstaller from this **LINK**. Once it is done removing the software, try uninstalling the ATI Driver provided by your manufacturer (In Driver CD) or few versions earlier of the current version.

In case of any further problem, I would require the Complete Dump File which is located at "C:\Windows\Memory.DMP". The file size of this dump file would be big, hence, make sure that you ZIP it up before uploading it to file hosters like Mediafire,OneDrive etc.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

OK been a while since I posted the original thread, I have since refreshed Windows and updated all drivers for the system board and everything else.

I am still having issues with crashing / freezing and I have noticed a few times in the event viewer it says that the crash log failed to run.

Here is the full Memory Dump: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gdfnc56ifdzgo2t/MEMORY.rar?dl=0

The address was not valid and there was an access fault as well. I would suggest you to run Memtest first using this **GUIDE** for no less than 8 passes.

If this does not find any error, kindly turn on Driver Verifier using this **GUIDE**. Make sure you let the Driver Verifier crash the system for few times before uploading a fresh copy of the SF Diagnostic ZIP File. Also, remove your TeamViewer Software since it is from 2007 and known to cause BSOD's.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Hi Revan ^_^,

Let me know the output of the tests. The internet connection here is not so awesome so if there is further problem, I would download and analyse the Complete Dump file :)

still no resolution on this. Crashed again today and just to recap have updated/reinstalled all drivers on the system have tried removing anti-virus and video drivers and teamviewer none of these seem to be the root cause.

Ran a memory diagnostic for around 60 hours, 8 passes on 32gb of ram, no errors. Running out of ideas here.

Full memory dump is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gdfnc56ifdzgo2t/MEMORY.rar?dl=0

Update or rename drivers in red from .sys to .bak. Test your GPU with FurMark: Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark - Windows 7 Help Forums
Monitor the test at all times. This can damage your GPU if you do not follow my instructions precisely!

- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test (Looks like it's "BURN-IN test" now)
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
NOTE: Set the alarm to go off at 90ºC. Then watch the system from that point on. What you are looking for:
- excessive heat from the GPU (report back with anything over 90ºC)
- problems with the video display (picture is distorted or jumbled, picture turns black, etc)
