Hello.

Just got a new laptop (local manufacturer), all works fine except one thing.

Sometimes in show BSOD with DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, showing that ntoskrnl.exe caused this. I have no idea what can cause this bsod, couldn't get anything relevant from BlueScreenView program and system's logs.

Hardware is Core-i7 4700MQ, intel hd 4600, nvidia gtx 860M, Intel HM87 Chipset

Hope for your help.

Thank you for your response.

Here, this is a new dumpfile with driver verifyer enabled.

I installed older video-drivers in case there is a bug in new release, but looks like it's not the case.

I appreciate your help.

Yeah, i have done some googling and found out, that it is an issue when nvidia card tries to go idle. Looks like it's a bug in drivers, though it's pretty old issue and nvidia seems not to care about it since it's not common.

What i have done for now is installed driver came on disk with laptop, but as you can see it's not helping. I guess i should consider return my laptop to seller, if there is no solution. Pretty sad.

Thanks for your response. If there is anything i could do to investigate it, i'd appreciate the help.

Go in Device Manager and right click on your video card. Uninstall it. Then delete the driver software of the device. Restart your pc. Wait for Windows to detect and reinstall the video card. When you are notified that the configuration is finished restart the PC again Download the previous version of the drivers(not the latest, but one before that) and report back.

It could be due to the driver failing. Please try updating the driver in question.

Sorry to bother you, i have tried a bunch of differnet drivers (including last one, previous one and one that is not even in "old" nvidia's site section) before and it didn't help. Anyway, i returned my laptop back to seller, they will check it.

Big thanks for your help, you are doing a great job here.
