Kernel security check error

Hello guys,

I've bought this computer before 1 month and started to having problems with BSODS when it had windows 7. It was IRQL not less or equal errors and so on. I thought it was hard drive problem with bad sectors.

What I did was completely format the hard drive (low level format), Installed Windows 8.1 with graphic drivers (other drivers were already included) and started getting kernel security check BSOD errors.

SF file uploaded.

I'm thinking about buying a new hard drive if I can't solve this BSOD problem. What can you advice for me?

    Windows 8.1
So no one can help? ;/

Today did a surface test on my hard drive with EaseUS Partition Master there were no bad sectors.

I understand that this is a very important problem for you and that you'd like it solved as soon as is possible. But there are other circumstances that you may not be aware of. Please read this pinned topic about waiting for a response: http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/48165-have-you-been-waiting-response.html

This does not sound like a hard drive problem. I wouldn't suggest buying a hard drive at this time.

Only 4 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 70 to 90 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Don't worry about the specific number, it's just important that you have checked and installed any updates that were available (and didn't experience any errors).

Please visit the MSI support website for your system to download and install the latest available drivers from there.
I believe that this is the page for your motherboard: MSI Global - Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Motherboard, Graphics and more
If so, then it appears that MSI doesn't support Win8.1 on this motherboard.
Start by installing all of the Win8 drivers and we'll see what we can do from there.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

I'm glad that the motherboard supports Win8.1! That'll make things easier.
Getting all the Windows Updates and all the Gigabyte updates is the best "fix" right now.
Good luck!

Please uninstall MalwareBytes. If you decide to reinstall it AFTER the system is stabilized, please ensure that you do not let it install the free trial of MalwareBytes Pro. It runs in memory and can conflict with your other antivirus.

Please install the Intel Smart Connect Technology Driver from this page: MSI Global - Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Motherboard, Graphics and more
It's driver dates from August of 2013, while yours dates from November of 2012
If it gives you an error, or says that it's not for your system - please let us know.

If this doesn't stop the BSOD's, then please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Well, a couple days before I had problems with Windows 8 loading (it didn't load). I made a system restore and it still didn't help. Later I used the Windows 8.1 CD to fix boot and it worked. However, (probably) I lost my made updates, was able to install only few of them after the system restore (I guess they haven't gone anywhere, I suppose).

So, I updated what I could, uninstalled malwarebytes and updated Intel Smart Connect Technology Driver as you adviced me.

1-2 days I didn't have any BSOD. Before ~30min I got new BSOD: VIDEO_scheduler_Internal_ERROR while watching a youtube video. Computer made a strange sound (I started to think that something is wrong with my old speakers and booster. I attach my new SF log.

Sorry if I started bothering you, but I wan't to solve this problem and to leave some information for future generations to fix this problem too.

Another IRQL not less or equal error. I'm attaching the sf log. If I won't be able to get all the updates from windows cause of failed error state, probably I should reinstall windows?

Also my friend told me it may be caused by bad RAM or GPU. But I did memory check with windows diagnostic tool, it couldn't be RAM I think.

We welcome your descriptions. When someone comes searching for help, they'll see what they need in your descriptions.
Also, more BSOD's are solved by the owner of the system than I have ever solved - so keep up the good work!

The Video Scheduler error says video problems, so please:
- Update to the latest, Win8.1 compatible Intel Graphics driver from the MSI website
- Update to the latest, Win8.1 compatible nVidia Graphics driver from the nVidia website
- Update to the latest, Win8.1 compatible Intel Smart Connect Technology driver from the MSI website

Also, have a look at this topic for more suggestions about troubleshooting video errors: Video TDR Timeout - 0x116 + 0x117 - Sysnative Forums
Also, please monitor your temps with this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics. Let us know the results and we can move on from there.

Today scanned my 2x4GB ram with utility Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool Auto-installer for USB Key (Win 9x/2k/xp/7) *NEW!*

It seems that my 1x4GB ram bought before 1 month had many errors during the test scan. Today gave this bone to my seller and will wait for 2 weeks what they will say at guarantee service.

Probably BSOD's will stop from now on. I will update how this will turn out.

Also I reinstalled to Windows 8.1 Enterprise with all available updates and drivers I could find. I attach SF, could you diagnose it and report me what's wrong?

ABOUT Smart Connect Technology Driver - I install newest version from msi website, also tried to reinstalling/installing newest version from official Intel website. But in the device manager, driver's date is always shown 2013-10-31 version 1.0.11.0 and I don't know why.

Don't worry about the driver date for now. It dates from after Win8.1 was released, so it should be OK for now.

The driver is only 1 part of the installation package - so if they update another part within the package, then they'll update the package with a newer version (but won't necessarily update the driver).

Let's wait and see if the BSOD's go away now that you've removed the bad memory stick.
