These drivers are not installed:
PCI Simple Communications Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8CBA&SUBSYS_79171462&REV_00\3&11583659&0&B0 The drivers for this device are not installed.
SM Bus Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8CA2&SUBSYS_79171462&REV_00\3&11583659&0&FB The drivers for this device are not installed.
They are most likely associated with your Intel chipset drivers. Please install them immediately.

Many Windows Update failures in the WER section of MSINFO32. Make sure that you are getting ALL available Windows Updates. If not (or if you're still getting errors) post over in the Windows Updates & Activation - Windows 8 Forums forum.

Please uninstall MSI Afterburner and MSI Live Update - as they use the NTIOLib_X64.sys driver that has known BSOD issues with some Windows systems.

I'm uncertain if there's a hardware problem here, so please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

The drivers that are [DEL]struckout[/DEL] don't have updates available (AFAIK).

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

There is no evidence that the BSOD's are still happening.
Please do these 2 things:

1)
Upload Dump Files:
NOTE: If using a disk cleaning utility, please stop using it while we are troubleshooting your issues.
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service. Then post the link to it in your topic so that we can download it.

Also, search your entire hard drive for files ending in .dmp, .mdmp, and .hdmp. Zip up any that you find and upload them with your next post.

Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDumpMore info on dump file options here: Overview of memory dump file options for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2

2) Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here: Windows Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

Usually when you get that error, if you click OK the program will open anyway.
If not, here's 2 different ways to fix the usual cause of this particular error:
Backup (export) this registry key (just in case), then delete the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels\Microsoft-Windows-DxpTaskRingtone/Analytic

According to this link: microsoft-windows-dxptaskringtone/analytic the system cannot find - Microsoft Community
This particular logfile has been deprecated and is no longer available in Win8.1
Error in Event Viewer (DxpTaskRingtone) - how to fix:
1. Back up registry (set a System Restore point).
2. Right click on Start.
3. Choose 'Run'.
4. Type "regedit" (without quotation marks)
5. Choose 'Yes' when you're prompted by UAC.
6. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels\
7. Right click on folder: Microsoft-Windows-DxpTaskRingtone/Analytic
8. Choose 'Delete' and then 'Yes'.
9. Close Registry Editor and restart your computer.
This is from this topic: Error in Event Viewer (DxpTaskRingtone) after upgrading to - Microsoft Community

My download of the MEMORY.DMP file was corrupted.
I did manage find that it was a STOP 0x1A error
So, start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
Let us know the results and we'll move on from there.

I don't know anything about the RSOD - they aren't (AFAIK) a kernel-mode crash and driver issue.
And, without the reports that I requested, there's not much else that I can do.

The dump blames dxgmms1.sys - a DirectX Windows driver related to your video.
I'd suggest:
- download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8.1 compatible video drivers from the manufacturer's website
- uninstall the current video drivers
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's

Admin log seems to show ISCTAgent issues just before the BSOD's.
Please:
- download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8.1 compatible version of the Intel Smart Connect Technology software from the manufacturer's website
- uninstall the current copy of Intel Smart Connect Technology from your system
- install the freshly downloaded copy of Intel Smart Connect Technology
- monitor for further BSOD's

Update your Synaptics touchpad drivers to the latest available, Win8.1 compatible version from the manufacturer's website. The current driver (SynTP.sys) dates from 03 Oct 2012.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Ok, Now for direct X i should install the AMD Drivers 14.4 right. I have installed it now, and installed a new smart connect driver, and updated my power supply so here is hoping.

Crossing Fingers

Also I don't know, is there a way in the future or now to tell if there are any drivers requiring updates?

Hi now i am receiving this blue screen

Have you updated the Synaptics TouchPad driver (SynTP.sys) yet?

Your BSOD errors were: STOP 0x7E, STOP 0xA; STOP 0x10E; STOP 0x3B
Out of 4 memory dumps there were 4 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

This'll be a 2 step process
1) Please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
2) Please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

If the Synaptics stuff remains after you've removed it, try the stuff below to get rid of it's remnants:

Search your hard drive for SynTP
You should find (at a minimum)
- SynTP.sys
- SynTPEnh.exe
Let us know any others that you may find (and the location of all of them) - this'll serve as a record in case you need to go back and rename them again (if the system doesn't boot).

Then please do the following:
1) Create a Restore Point using System Restore
2) Create a Repair disc (Recovery Drive in Win8.1):
Win 7 - Go to Start...All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc
Win 8 - Press "WIN" and "R" to open the Run dialog...type "RECDISC" (without the quotes) and press ENTER
Win 8.1 - Go to the Start Screen and type in "recoverydrive" (one word, without the quotes). That will start the recovery drive process. You will need a USB drive of at least 512 mB - and all data will be erased off of it. If copying the recovery partition the drive size will be much, much larger (16 - 32 gB drive required).
3) Test the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive to make sure that you can get to the System Restore entry when you boot from the disk/drive (you may also want to try actually using System Restore to make sure that it works)
3a) Rename the .exe files (that you found when searching for SynTP) to .BAD Keep a record of where these files are, in case you need to go back and rename them again (if the system doesn't boot)
4) Download this free program (Autoruns for Windows) and use it to disable any instances of SynTP.sys that are starting (or any other SynTP or Synaptic entries) (DO NOT DELETE - only disable by removing the checkmark in the left hand column)
5) Check in Device Manager (to include showing hidden devices from the View menu item) and ensure that any instances of SynTP.sys (or any other SynTP or Synaptic entries) are "Uninstalled" (DO NOT DISABLE THESE).
6) Check in the Services applet (services.msc) to be sure any instances of SynTP.sys or any other SynTP or Synaptic entries are disabled.
7) Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and rename the SynTP.sys driver to hssdrv6.BAD (search the hard drive for it if it's not in C:\Windows\System32\drivers).

In the event that the system doesn't boot:
1) Boot from the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive and use the Command Prompt option to rename SynTP.BAD to SynTP.sys Also rename any of the .exe's from .BAD to .exe (if you did this step)
Code:
ren C:\Windows\System32\drivers\SynTP.BAD C:\Windows\System32\drivers\SynTP.sys
2) Boot from the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive and use the System Restore option to restore the system to a point before the changes were made.

Good luck!

It's not unusual for it to take a while to fix a BSOD. Most take 2 pages of posts, but the more difficult one's can go to 4 or more pages.

This memory dump (as you noted) blames video. Please update your video drivers.

This'll be a 2 step process
1) Please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
2) Please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Ok so I did Driver verirfier and I BSOD every time i attempt to log in 8.1 and this is the file that has a problem its called e22w8x64.sys and here is the dump file after driver verifier

Hope we fix it

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    Windows 8
Please turn Driver Verifier off. To do this, open up verifier.exe and select "Delete existing settings". Then click on "Finish" and reboot the computer for the settings to take effect.

e22w8x64.sys is a driver for your Killer Networks Ethernet card.
Please:
- download the latest, Win8.1 compatible drivers for your Killer network card from the MSI website
- uninstall ALL Killer network stuff from your system - first in Control Panel...Programs and Features, then double check for any remnants in Device Manager...Network Adapters
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's

Should the BSOD's continue, I'd have to suspect a hardware problem with the networking card.
It's also possible that there's a Windows problem (but it's much less likely than a hardware problem if the system is fully updated). In order to rule this out, I'd suggest a Refresh of the operating system - and then a Reset if the Refresh doesn't work. A Reset will wipe out all of your data - so make sure that you have a good backup before starting.
