BSOD while playing flash videos, error 0xa0000001

Hey guys so for the past few days I have been getting BSOD when I play some sort of videos in my browser be it mozilla or chrome. It all started on 8/14 and I checked out the forums and internet seeking the answer but did not find anything definitive. The bsod did not happen for a few days until yesterday and today and that is why I am posting it here. Everytime it seems to be due to the address ntoskrnl.exe+153ca0. The thing that baffles me is it happens when I play flash videos online but has never happened when I played games even in the highest settings.

Also this BSOD happened after I installed a new AMD R7 260x graphics card. I went through the procedure to do a clean install but to no avail.

Here are my pc specs: hp p7-1414
Motherboard: MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine)
Processor: AMD A8-5500
Memory: 6gb
Video graphics: Integrated graphics -> Upgraded to AMD R7 260x
Power supply: Internal 300w -> Upgraded to Corsair CX600 600 W

Thank you in advance guys

Riva Tuner (along with MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys). Please un-install them immediately!

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.
NOTE: these symptoms were from the previous release of OverDrive. The new release uses the same driver name, but is dated from 4 November 2013.
Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLY: ATI video cards - DRIVER ONLY installation procedure - Sysnative Forums

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install". Reboot for changes to take affect.
Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's. If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

Beyond this, I have these 3 suggestions:
1. Get ALL available Windows Updates. It may take several trips to get them all
2. Start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
3. If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

The memory dumps are related to video (this is a custom AMD bugcheck code). Be sure to run the video diagnostics.

Hello there and thank you for all your advice and I apologize for replying so late.

I had MSI Afterburn installed but did not overclock my card. I just wanted to see if mine was overclocked or not but I had unistalled it before posting here. I uninstalled Riva Tuner as well.

Also I do not have AMD overdrive installed on my pc.

Now regarding the hardware diagnostics. How long should I run the video diagnostics. I installed furmark but even though I put 600 milliseconds to run it, it is still going beyond that. My hardwares did pass the other tests though; Memtest and hard-drive test. No problems there. I will post in details about the other suggestions that you gave me once I know how long I need to run the video diagnostics.

Again Thank you very much good sir

AMD Overdrive is installed on your system (but, in this case, it wasn't cited as being involved in the crash)
This is the driver installed on your system (from the MSINFO32.nfo report)
aoddriver4.3 AODDriver4.3 \??\c:\program files\ati technologies\ati.ace\fuel\amd64\aoddriver2.sys Kernel Driver Yes Auto Running OK Normal No Yes
It's still possible that it did contribute to the crash, so it must be removed (for testing purposes)

Furmark should run until the temperature stabilizes (and let us know what it stabilizes at)
This indicates a cooling system that's working properly (unless it stabilizes too high).
If the temperature doesn't stabilize (or if it's too high), then there's a problem with the cooling (or with the card).
Also look for video artifacts, crashing of the program, freezing of the program, or any other weird video things - as they can be symptoms of a GPU that's malfunctioning.

What we do is we try to fix any cooling problems. Once that's done, if the card still malfunctions, then it's a problem with the card.
The next step is to replace the card with either one that's known to be good, or a new one.
In the event you decide to use a new one, purchase it from a place that will let you return it for your money back (just in case).

Good luck!
