:confused:Hi,
I have been having this issue for a few weeks. My machine crashes on always when
I try to Shut Down or restart the computer with bsod page_fault_in_nonpaged_area.
The only way to turn off the computer is manually with the button. Thought it was
due to registry or windows issues but I restored the computer to an earlier state
and it didn’t works. I checked the disk with no errors found. Hope someone can
help me - thanks in advance. Dumps attached

Jorge, this is a common BSOD due to the Gigabyte ON/OFF program that you would have installed as part of the motherboard drivers. I recommend uninstalling Gigabyte ON/OFF.

Yesterday I reinstalled and updated all the motherboard drivers and updated the motherboard bios. I thought it was solved because I restarted the computer a couple times without bsod but later it reappeared.
I have uninstalled the on off charge but the problem persists.

Now with the seatools I’m checking the disks that I have and one of them has short dst failure. I'm doing other tests and later I will try with the seatools for dos.

thank you for your help

Unfortunately, Im having severe problems with WinDBG so I can't look at the .dmp files, but I will advise you not to use System Mechanic or similar programmes to help diagnose the issue - they aren't worth anything.

Lets wait till we can look at the .dmp files.

I have highlighted 3 drivers in RED which are related to Gigabyte Easy Saver / On or Off Utility. Please uninstall any Gigabyte Software which you might be having on your system. Furthermore, search for those files using the system wide search and see if they come up or not. If they are found, please rename those driver files and then restart your PC. Check if new driver files are made by searching them again. It must not return any results once you have renamed the files. If you are still getting those files, then please follow the below steps :-

  1. Open the RUN dialog box by pressing the Win Key(Start Button on your keyboard) and R together to open the Run Prompt. Type in there ="services.msc".
  2. A Services Window would be opened.
  3. See if you could find any services which are related to Gigabyte or the USbCharger.sys or the AppleCharger.sys or the GDRV.
  4. Once, they are found, please right click on them and then click on Properties.
  5. Under the Startup Type Dropdown menu , select Disabled.
  6. Do this for every service which you find related to Gigabyte. Once it is done, make sure the driver files are renamed (if present) and then restart the system.

Let me know how it goes ^_^.

Finally I can say that I have solved the problem with your help.
Golden was right that the problem was gigabyte on / off, but despite I uninstalled it the problem persisted.
Blueelvis gave me a list with the problematic drivers and how to handle them.
Finally as you told me, I uninstalled everything that “sounded” to gigabyte, all their applications and in the end I could rename the gdrv.sys.
I've rebooted, turned off the computer and everything is fine.
Thank you very much for your help. I was going crazy.
