Hello gentlemen.

The past few days i've been having a lot of errors, which even made my computer go super slow, which made me reset most of the computer files. It was solved, up untill I started having errors again yesterday, "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR"s. It happens whenever a game I play (or try to, atm) is in it's loading screen. The name of the game is "The Secret World".

*EDIT*- Now it also crashes whenever the windows updates start installing on the restart after their download, with the message "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt".

Anyways, here goes the file. I hope you can help me solve this. Waiting anxiously for your answers. :)

Regards,

Manuel Figueiredo.

Only 15 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Your Bluetooth is disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?
Please re-enable the bluetooth and then update it's drivers.
Feel free to disable it again AFTER you've updated the drivers

Both McAfee and MalwareBytes are present in the memory dumps.
Please uninstall both, then use the McAfee Consumer Products removal tool to remove remnants of the program (direct download link: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe )
Then, make sure that Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall are activated (this is temporary - only while we're testing/troubleshooting).
Feel free to reinstall your choice of antivirus AFTER we've finished troubleshooting.
Only run one antivirus and one firewall at a time (it's OK to use MalwareBytes as a standalone scanner, just be sure that it isn't loading into memory when Windows starts).

Please also update your Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet NDIS6.x Unified Driver (wired LAN) to the latest, Win8 compatible version (as the errors appear to be due to networking activities).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

I'm doing everything you told me to, but it seems i cant find the "NTI CD-ROM Filter Driver by NewTech Infosystems" anywhere. How do I remove it?

It's probably a part of your Acer utilities (such as the Acer Empowering Technology). Updating them should update the driver.

In this case you also have the NTI Media Maker installed on your system. Uninstalling this should remove the driver.

Well, i did everything, but when i finished the updates and the computer restarted, it had a constant wave of errors while the computer was starting, so i was forced the restore the computer again to a stage without the updates installed --'. Anyways, apart from the updates, please check if you find anything else that might be causing this... If I update and it crashes, it should be something else.

Thanks in advance,
Manuel Figueiredo.

Have you removed the NTI Media Maker from your system? The 2 older drivers still remain in the memory dumps.

These latest memory dumps are starting to suggest a problem with your hardware.
Please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

At some point, I'd also suggest running Driver Verifier just in case this is a 3rd party driver issue: Driver Verifier Settings

What updates seem to cause the crashes? If it's updates for Windows, then there's further problems with the system.
If it is, then I'd suggest posting over in the Windows Updates and Activation forums located at this link:

ZTEusbnet.sys - this driver hasn't been added to the DRT as of this run. Please search Google/Bing for the driver if additional information is needed.

BSOD while installing windows updates and loading TSW game

Hello gentlemen.

The past few days i've been having a lot of errors, which even made my computer go super slow, which made me reset most of the computer files. It was solved, up untill I started having errors again yesterday, "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR"s. It happens whenever a game I play (or try to, atm) is in it's loading screen. The name of the game is "The Secret World".

One of the fixes people gave me was downloading and installing windows updates through windows updater, but now it also crashes whenever the windows updates start installing onthe restart after they were downloaded, with an error on "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt".

Anyways, here goes the file. I hope you can help me solve this. Waiting anxiously for your answers. :)

Regards,

Manuel Figueiredo

Normally I don't like manually uninstalling drivers, but these same 2 outdated drivers keep showing up in the dump files.
The reason for this is that this is a complicated task, and the procedure can render your system unbootable.
The first 3 steps are to ensure that you can recover from this (should the system become unbootable).

Try this:
1) Create a Restore Point using System Restore
2) Create a Repair disc (Recovery Drive in Win8.1):
Win 8 - Press "WIN" and "R" to open the Run dialog...type "RECDISC" (without the quotes) and press ENTER
Win 8.1 - Go to the Start Screen and type in "recoverydrive" (one word, without the quotes). That will start the recovery drive process. You will need a USB drive of at least 512 mB - and all data will be erased off of it. If copying the recovery partition the drive size will be much, much larger (16 - 32 gB drive required).
3) Test the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive to make sure that you can get to the System Restore entry when you boot from the disk/drive (you may also want to try actually using System Restore to make sure that it works)
4) Download this free program (Autoruns for Windows) and use it to disable any instances of NTIDrvr.sys and UBHelper.sys that are starting (DO NOT DELETE - only disable by removing the checkmark in the left hand column)
5) Check in Device Manager (to include showing hidden devices from the View menu item) and ensure that any instances of NTIDrvr.sys and UBHelper.sys are "Uninstalled" (DO NOT DISABLE THESE).
6) Check in the Services applet (services.msc) to be sure any instances of NTIDrvr.sys and UBHelper.sys are disabled.
7) Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and rename the NTIDrvr.sys and UBHelper.sys driver to NTIDrvr.BAD and UBHelper.BAD(search the hard drive for it if it's not in C:\Windows\System32\drivers).

In the event that the system doesn't boot:

1) Boot from the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive and use the Command Prompt option to rename hssdrv6.BAD to hssdrv6.sys
Code:
ren C:\Windows\System32\drivers\NTIDrvr.BAD C:\Windows\System32\drivers\NTIDrvr.sys
ren C:\Windows\System32\drivers\.BAD C:\Windows\System32\drivers\UBHelper.sys
2) Boot from the System Repair disc/Recovery Drive and use the System Restore option to restore the system to a point before the changes were made.

Good luck!
