Hello, this is my first post here . I have bought my laptop before 2 months and i have BSOD since then , nno matter what im doing ... Once it happened while there was no one using the laptop .

p.s. here are some of the BSOD codes i had :

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXPEPTION
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

they are different everytime

p.s.2 when i bought the laptop it had linux installed ( i think ) or it was ready for install . Could the problem come from there , and if yes what can i do about it . Im not so known with those things . Ive heard about a hidden memory which should be deleted (if there was linux before ) and its going to fix the problem , but i dont know what is that memory and where i can find it.
Ive send the laptop on authorized repair service of Acer ( cuz my laptop is still in guaranty ) , and yes they didnt fix it .... 2 times ... the first time they gave me the laptop with new HD , second time they told me something about a "weak connection" that they "fixed".
BUT my laptop is still here and i ahve BSOD randomly 2-3 tiems a day , and every game crashes after 10-30 mins after start . I wil lsay it again - the BSOD appeared once or twice without me even touching the laptop

You only have 133 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 - 180 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disk-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Out of 11 memory dumps there were 6 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers) - and older systems
- low-level driver problems (such as Daemon Tools)
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics
Start with the video diagnostics as the video drivers are most often mentioned in the memory dumps.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
