startup BSOD, possibly faulty CPU?

Hello guys!
Recently (2 days) I have installed an LGA771 CPU into my motherboard, and it is a bit undervoltaged too.
And today, when my PC booted to the desktop it started beeping. [DEL]I don't know where, because the headphones were on the case and I turned it off quickly[/DEL]. It wasn't the PC speaker. IT 'S NOT the headphones. The sound is like when a fan is full with dust. It occured for 4-5 seconds and no more. No reboots.
I checked the cables and it started successfully. What could be this?
Minidump attached, real dump is big. I have forced shut down before it could really finish.

"Az operációs rendszer hibaellenőrzés céljából újraindította a számítógépet. A művelet a következő volt: 0x00000050 (0xffffe0006853c2e4, 0x0000000000000001, 0xfffff8014227fca0, 0x0000000000000002). A memóriakép mentve a következő fájlba: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Jelentés azonosítója: 071114-19406-01"

Also I have other problems in the event viewer:
Windows mobile device center errors (as I see it was there always since the installation, and it works)

That's the other one: Kernel-PnP

The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device SWD\SensorsAndLocationEnum\LPSensorSWDevice.

Thanks in advance!

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum): http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...e-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html Please use Option 1 as it provides Event Viewer logs.

For starters:
At work we start all repairs with a set of diagnostics. Often they find problems that weren't even expected. It's a waste of time to try to fix software on a system that has hardware problems.
Please try these free diagnostics for starters: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
Also, please ensure that you have ALL available Windows Updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Please start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Please remove MagicISO as it's drivers date from 2009.

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

Beyond this, as there was only 1 memory dump in the upload, I have these 3 suggestions:
1. Get ALL available Windows Updates. It may take several trips to get them all
EDIT: also get all available, Win8.1 updates from the Gigabyte website for your mobo
2. Start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
3. If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Thank you for trying to help me!

Firstly, I ALWAYS update my Windows to the latest.
I haven't run memory diagnostics, but I have used faulty modules in the past, and I don't think that I have one now.
For CPU: Intel burn test ran successfully.
After writing the first post in the topic, I removed undervoltage, and the system is stable since then. But there were some loud screaming near the cpu area. For five secs each. 2 times after giving back the voltages. And the third was when the BSOD occured.
Gaming works well on my PC, but I can run furmark if you want.

Magic iso is old. Okay, but I use it to mount virtual drives. If you can advice an alternative, I will uninstall it. Daemon tools is NOT an alternative. Magiciso works well since the installation of the OS, I don't think it caused the issue.

Windows 8 and 8.1 are unsupported for my motherboard. So only realtek HD audio driver is installed.
This is the latest bios, with some modification.
xeon 771 microcode ·L½X
GA-G41M-ES2L

Also I use NOD32v7 as anti malware protection.

NVstream service is always removed after the installation.
Code:
sc delete "NvStreamSvc"
It causes many errors yes. But they show up in event viewer too.

I bought a new CPU cooler since, a Cooler Master Hyper T4. So I don't go beyond the limit. And I don't have to undervolt. It's stable.

The only thing I can't deal with is the high pitched LOUD noise when the BSOD occured, and those two times since, when the system stood stable.

SF tool thing uploaded.

And you forgot to mention that it's not a good idea to run it on other partition than C. I have searched for a while while I got the files G users....

Looking forward to your reply.

I have heard of others using Virtual Clone Drive ( SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive ) but have no experience with this type of software.

Do you still have the loud screaming noise after installing the new CPU cooler?
Have you checked your video card? Please run the rest of the diagnostics (including Furmark).

You only have 889 MB of free RAM. Please add more RAM (if the system is capable of it).
While waiting to add RAM:
- stop any unneeded startup items from starting when the system starts
- only open one program at a time

Your E: drive only has about 7% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

You have 3 hard drives. What is the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply?

Riva Tuner (along with MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys). Please un-install them immediately!

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

As Win8 and 8.1 aren't supported for your motherboard, there may come a time when the system isn't stable.
This will be due to the incompatibilities (problems) between the system and Windows 8/8.1
At that point your choice will be to either accept the problems, or do downgrade to Win7 or earlier in order to stabilize the system.

I don't worry about which partition the OS is loaded on. All Win8/8.1 systems that I've seen will rename the OS partition to C: when the OS is running. Yours appears to be this way in the MSINFO32 report.

About the last part: the application was running from G, my storage partition with no OS. And said that the results are saved onto the desktop. Instead, it created the User\Myuser\appdata\desktop folders on G. So this is a programming failure. Fix it in the next build.

EVGA Precision? No way for uninstalling. I already lost my 8800GT because of non fuctioning fan control. I have to do it manually if I don't want to cook the card. So it's not installed for overclocking purposes.
You can open my PC specs anytime, it's correct. The PSU is about one year old, and it spent half year in the store. So half year usage.

E drive is huuuuuge. I have 120GBs of space left there. So don't worry. Percentage is not everything.
I'm planning to add more RAM, but 3GBs are not so few to make the system unstable.
I need Win8.1 so it's not an option to fall back to Win7. Also, the HDD under Win7 is not in the best condition. SMART rates are good but it's really slow and sometimes connection lags beetween the OS and the HDD.

I have heard of virtual clone drive, but I can't see a list of compatible image files. nrg and alcohol images are necessary. But Virtual clone drive has a newer driver: Virtual CloneDrive 5.4.7.0 - Changelog

With the new cooler, I had a 1 second long loud noise after cold booting to Windows 8.1 this morning. System is still stable.
Yesterday I played Tom Clancy's Ghost recon phantoms without issues and lag. So VGA can be considered good but I will run a furmark just for you.

Furmark: 74°C max with 1280x720 MSAA8x 24FPS.
Prime 95 doesn't produce ad much heat as Intel burn test.

This is your system, so you do what you want with it.
I only make recommendations.
In this case I'm not real concerned about the EVGA Precision - but I am concerned about the Riva Tuner (it's listed in the Programs section of MSINFO32).

Have you checked to make sure nothing is rubbing on the fan?
I've seen small wires that were barely touching the fan blades and would make awfully loud noises.

If it continues to make noises, I'd either post in the hardware forums, or I'd take it to a shop to have it diagnosed.

Good luck!

OK thanks. I can try removing riva tuner. Will it affect EVGA precision? Because that's the program which installed it.
The following days I'll try to cold boot into linux instead. The loud noise only occurs at cold boots in the morning...

I'm not concerned about the fans, but it's definietely not the CPU fan. I hope the noise and the BSOD were a coincidence, but I don't think so. The PSU fan is also cannot be the noise source. Only VGA.

About the magicDISC, it's hard to leave an app after so many years. And it has a Windows 8 optimized version.

Today:
There was no strange sound with Ubuntu. Reboot, Windows 8.1 desktop loaded. Strange sound...
MagicDisc removed, Rivatuner removed. No strange noise since, but I will wait a few days...
Even is virtual clone drive doesn't say itself alcohol 120% compatible, it is working well with those images.

Alcohol itself was never installed on MY computer. But sadly, I have dosens of images still in Alcohol format. That's why I need an image mounting program. If I need to write, I use gBurner.

There was no sound today morning, but just right now a long one...
It was like a blocked fan, when I touched the cable in front of the PSU van grill, it stopped...

No, not really. It's impossible to push anything(cables mostly) through the fan grill, it won't make any noise if I try. I haven't heard the noise since, it doesn't occur at boot anymore. But I am not at the computer always.
Also, I switched to the newest EVGA Precision. It supports downclocking again!
