My computer keeps blue screening lately after a fresh install.

I'm trying to figure it out myself but I don't know what I need to do to figure it out so any help would be appreciated.

Yours,

Pheoxy

Blue screen after a fresh install usually means a hardware problem
Although it can be compatibility issues, or 3rd party software that's corrupted on install
Start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

I've seen quite a few of these Gigabyte boards with BSOD issues. I'm starting to wonder if the board itself may be incompatible w/Win8.1

D: E: and F: drives have less than 15% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty).

Virtual Box Ethernet Adapter is disabled in Device Manager.
Is this deliberate? If so, why?
If not using Virtual Box, please uninstall it. If using is, please be sure that it's updated to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version (enable the adapter BEFORE updating it).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

PxHlpa64.sys Mon Oct 17 10:29:34 2011 (4E9C3BCE)
Sonic CD/DVD driver (used by many different CD/DVD programs)
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=PxHlpa64.sys

NvStreamKms.sys Thu May 22 12:43:14 2014 (537E2922)
nVidia Streaming Kernel service - may cause BSOD in Win8.1 systems (found in May 2014). Date/TimeStamp: Tue Apr 29 20:59:44 2014 (53604B00) MAY NOT BE A PROBLEM, this is a tenative posting
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=NvStreamKms.sys

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
