Solved driver irql not less or equal netio.sys error in windows 8

Hello,
I have HP ProBook 450 G1 (core i5, 8 GB ram, 2 GB VGA) ... and it's keeping on showing this blue screen with "driver irql not less or equal (netio.sys)" error.

It has nor pattern and just keep on showing up randomly .. and I think it always happen when I open Mozilla Firefox browser

I have Avira antivirus ... Please help me, what can I do to stop this ??

Yes, happned in Firefox and also in Chrome too. I would suggest temporarily uninstall Avira to see if problem still occurs. Anti Virus software known to cause BSOD's.

While testing, use Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall to keep from being infected .

FYI, I did look at the dump files and that's what they all pointed to Firefox and Chrome and Netio.sys was the cause. the dmp files only give you a glue of what happened, it does not tell you exactly where the problem is.

Now, we've already suggested you what to do to isolate the problem so did you do it ?

Also, Anti Virus software is hard to uninstall, you need to use their uninstaller to do it.

I uninstalled the avira and now using windows defender only and the blue screen didn't show up since then, I think it might be solved now
