    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

Only 30 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 60 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Don't worry about the specific number, it's just important that you have checked and installed any updates that were available.

Your BIOS dates from 2007. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

There is a possibility that this system isn't compatible with Win8/8.1 If that's the case, you may have to downgrade to Win7 or earlier in order to achieve stability. We'll continue to try and fix the system - but it's your decision as to whether you revert or not.

Many BSOD's in the WER section of MSINFO32 - but only 1 dump file in the uploaded reports
This could be a hardware problem - or just a consequence of using disk cleaners.
Just in case, start with these free hardware diagnostics: Initial Hardware Diagnostics

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

    VSTCNXT3.SYS Wed Oct 15 20:29:13 2008 (48F68AD9)
    Conexant SoftK56 Modem Driver

    VSTBS23.SYS Wed Oct 15 20:30:15 2008 (48F68B17)
    Conexant HSF_HWB2 WDM driver

    VSTDPV3.SYS Wed Oct 15 20:32:04 2008 (48F68B84)
    Conexant SoftK56 Modem Driver

    DO NOT UNINSTALL; only update:
    nvstor.sys Mon Sep 12 19:22:00 2011 (4E6E9418)
    nVidia Storage Drivers

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
