I recently bought a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 laptop with OS Windows 8.1, BSOD around 3 times so far.
So far it only happen at home where I will connect a keyboard, mouse and monitor to my laptop.
The last BSOD encounter was after booting up I realise my mouse and keyboard are not responding although there is light coming from them; after a while it BSOD.

I also have another problem of hotkey function returning to default behaviour after a full power discharge (no battery, no ac power connected, and a shutdown is done) although the BIOS settings has changed and saved.
Stating this problem too because I am not sure if this is related to the BSOD.

Please check to make sure that you have ALL available Windows Updates. It may take several trips to get them all.

Is there any particular reason that Secure Boot is turned off? Don't change it now, as it may render the system unbootable.

The WER section of MSINFO32 shows BSOD's due to video
The dumps say something a bit different, but it's still possible that it is video. Especially since you're connecting another monitor when it happens.

Try the mouse and keyboard without the monitor and see if the BSOD happens then.
If not, then it's likely to be the monitor.
Also try new cables for the monitor.

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized. i5 and i7 processors can be "auto-overclocked" by using Intel's TurboBoost feature. If so, it's safe to disregard this caution.
Processor may be overclocked!
Expected Frequency: 1600
Actual Frequency: 2295
Overclock Ratio: 1.43438

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

What is secure boot? and how do I configure it?
I did window updates until there is no update left.

I changed my BIOS boot setting to "Legacy Support" to run a memtest. Without changing the boot setting back to UEFI, I now experience rare slight screen display distortion when booting up without connecting to my monitor.

I do not know is there a problem BIOS and whether is it causing the problems.
The few "weird" behaviours are like the hotkey function I mentioned before, and when boot mode is in "legacy support" and boot priority is "legacy first", under legacy no matter the order of "ATA HDD" and "Network Boot" it will always try to boot from network first.

When plugged in with my thumb drive to do the memtest with the thumb drive boot order at the top under legacy, it correctly boots from the thumb drive though.

Check Lenovo to see if there is a BIOS/UEFI update for your system.

Please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Did some driver updates but the problem still seem to persist (occasional BSOD with monitor plugged in and booting up).

View attachment 46134

But disabling "Turn on fast startup (recommended)" option in Control Panel > Power Options > System Settings seems to solve it. I have not had a BSOD for a few weeks (even with my monitor plug in).

Thanks for letting us know.
If you're not getting BSOD's I won't bother analyzing the most recent dumps.
If you'd like me to do it anyway, please post back and let me know.
