Hi there,

Stated in the title, I've been receiving BSODs with the following: Irql_not_less_or_equal. After reading in various forums, it seems to be a common issue. I personally refreshed and did a complete new installation to no avail and hoping for some guidance here.

I attached the SF Diagnostic info as per "Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions ."
Hopefully it's enough info to help.

I receive it generally randomly, I never receive it while I'm playing games, but I do receive it (occasionally) when trying to load it. The game would hang while loading it and I'm forced to close it through task manager. BSOD would occur after force close. Most of the time it's from idling or watching video via Youtube.

Only 1 memory dump in the uploaded files. If using a cleaning program (such as CCleaner), please stop while we're troubleshooting.

Only 32 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 60 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

The lone memory dump blames video
As this occurs despite a reinstallation of Windows, I'd have to suspect hardware.
But it's also possible that this is a driver issue (STOP 0xA errors are mostly caused by drivers).

So, let's hit it with a 3 pronged approach:
1) Update the nVidia video drivers to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version (from the Lenovo website). To do this, download a fresh copy of the drivers, uninstall the current drivers, then install the freshly downloaded drivers.
2) Please run these free hardware diagnostics (start with the video tests first); Hardware Diagnostics
3) Please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Also, check for updates for your Logitech GamePanel/Keyboard drivers (LGVirHid.sys and LGBusEnum.sys)
. These date from 2009 and should be updated.

All windows update were all installed prior to posting this thread. The only 2 updates I did not install are the 2 related to Bing. Bing Bar 7.3 (KB2673774) and Bing Desktop v1.3.4.

As for updating the logitech keyboard/game panel. I do not have any of the above. I do have a logitech mouse which uses Logitech Gaming Software 8.53.15. I will plan to delete it.

I have tried uninstalling/installing the NVIDIA program, but I will attempt it again.

Fur Mark stress test: maxes at ~70 celcius, left it for ~ 2 hours, no changes occured.

The other tests I will report back when time allows.

-Mike.
