Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!
The best way to backup (IMO) is to copy your Users folder to another device. Then scan the directory structure of the hard drive to ensure that nothing has stored info outside of the Users folder. I haven't seen this in Win8, but always do it at work as a matter of routine. In most cases, when I do find things, it's because the owner has chosen to store it outside of the Users folder.
Then, the best way to backup the entire system is with disk images. But, should the system fail between disk images, you may have to rely on the backup to restore recent data.
A combination of both has been best for most folks, although I prefer just backing up the data and resintalling Windows "clean" if necessary.
On to the analysis................
Only 14 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 56 - 60 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get
ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
DO NOT uninstall this one, only update it:

ATK WMIACPI Utility

It's OK to uninstall this one if no update is available:
AiCharger.sys Thu Sep 22 22:04:40 2011 (4E7BE938)
Asus Charger Driver [br] Likely
BSOD cause - haven't seen recently (15Jan2013)
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=AiCharger.sys
Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.
If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:
Driver Verifier Settings
