MS Surface Pro 2 BSOD Kernal_Security_Check_Failure

I've had this Surface Pro 2 tablet for a few months now. Not long after I got it I started to get the BSOD, always with the error "Kernal_Security_Check_Failure". I cannot determine a pattern that is causing it. I have the surface in a docking station most of the time connected to a Cirago NuView X2 screen splitter connected to two external screens. However, I think I have gotten the BSOD while not in the dock, but can't remember. It's happening multiple times a day now. I spend most of my days in front on my computer so I give it a lot of opportunity to crash. I believe I have all the latest Windows updates. I appreciate your help.

These devices are disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?
Cisco Systems VPN Adapter for 64-bit Windows ROOT\NET\0000 This device is disabled.
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows x64 ROOT\NET\0001 This device is disabled.
I would suggest uninstalling the Cisco software to see if that stops the BSOD's (it does sometimes cause them - and your drivers seem to date from 2008/9). If not, then feel free to install the latest, Win8.1 compatible version (and disable it if you like).

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized. i5 and i7 processors can be "auto-overclocked" by using Intel's TurboBoost feature. If so, it's safe to disregard this caution.
Processor may be overclocked!
Expected Frequency: 1600
Actual Frequency: 2295
Overclock Ratio: 1.43438

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
