Win 8.1 BSOD (Driver Overran Stack Buffer)

Hello,

My desktop PC is few years old and I have installed Win 8.1 for quite a long period of time. Since then I don't really have any problems, until I got my BSOD about DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER today. I just booted up the PC normally, logged in to the desktop(not Start screen), and waited for a moment. Then I got this BSOD.

PS. I did not do any hardware driver updates recently.

Would be very grateful if someone could kindly look into my issue and pinpoint the source of the problematic driver/file?

Thank you very much!

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

IMO this looks like a hardware problem - but could also be a lower level driver acting up.
As such, let's take a 2 pronged approach:
1) Please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
2) Please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Post back with the results and we'll see what we can find.
