Solved SF Diagnostic Tool in BSOD Posting Instructions - Adware?

While working through the BSOD Posting Instructions, I am finding Option 1 - Step 2's download of the SF Diagnostic Tool is halted by my AVG software as Adware is suspected. How do you suggest I proceed so I can upload the needed file regarding my Kernel Security Check Failure?

Disable your antivirus, then download the SFDiagnostic tool

Hmmm. I did not yet disable AVG yet it seems the tool may have installed. When running (as, I believe, Administrator since I seem to have just 1 account on this Windows 8 machine) SF_Diagnostic_Tool, an error message indicates it encounters an unhandled exception and then hangs when I opt to 'continue'.

The unhandled exception occurs in Minidump. The 'Details' follow in case they are useful for helping you see what is going on.

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Please disable AVG or whitelist the application. Many people are using it and I don't think that it is adware. Also, uninstall the tool completely and then download again and install that new one while your antivirus is still disabled to see if the program is returning the Unhandled Exception Error.
