Crashes when Idle MEMORY.DMP error msgs in WIN 8

New refurbished computer-Just bought couple days ago)
HP Envy 700-074

When the screen goes dark, It restarts all over again and then when it turns on it says
"Problem caused PC to restart" Then asks me to send error to microsoft.

This is what shows up:

C:\Windows\Minidump\030914-24703-01.dmp
C:\Users\Astaire\AppData\Local\Temp\Wer-70312-0
C:\Windows\Memory.DMP

It does it every time the screen goes black.
Any help would be wonderful. I don't want to return the computer or send it off to be fixed, if this can be simply fixed.

Specs of computer are on my profile! :D

I attached Zip folder of dump files

(I just updated 47 outdated driver and 37 outdated system drivers, not sure if problem is fixed)

Your dumpfiles indicates you have a Bug Check 0xA5: ACPI_BIOS_ERROR

The ACPI_BIOS_ERROR bug check has a value of 0x000000A5. This bug check indicates that the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) BIOS of the computer is not fully compliant with the ACPI specification

This error indicates that you have to obtain a new BIOS. Contact your vendor or visit the internet to get a new BIOS.

But it appears that according to the HPsite you already have the latest Bios.
I found on the Hpforum a thread HP Envy 700-074 model BIOS corruption, or bug, etc. that indicates there are several people with a Hp 700 74 who have this problem.

See Re: HP Envy 700-074 model BIOS corruption, or bug, etc. - HP Support Forum - 3348143

In the underlying post there are some suggestions/tips to solve this.

P.s.,

I'm not a BSOD specialist, so hopefully they can help you more specifically.

Nice work lifetec! I'm replying here so I'll get notified of any replies.
Let's see how the BIOS/UEFI workarounds work for kurosaki before we dive into an in-depth BSOD analysis.

I read and read fourms on the issue someone upgraded to 8.1 had no further issues but returned the computer anyways not to risk future issues.

so i upgraded to 8.1 and the computer has not crashed at all. Idk if i should keep the computer or not. Even if the issues fixed but ill update to see if the issue is really gone from the update ! Thank you so much for the info!!
