Hi,

Uninstall Kaspersky then use removal tool for it. Set Windows Defender and Windows Firewall to Automatic and start them too.

Uninstall AMD video driver software normally and completely. Reboot. Install the latest WHQL driver again, and do not use CCC to make profiles or stuff like that, so AODDriver2.sys is not loaded.

Uninstall DUMeter if necessary:

DUMETR64 DUMETR64.SYS Fri Mar 01 14:37:29 2013 (51310379)

Put special attention on this, to make sure you are not overclocking cpu, bus, memory or gpu in any way.

Enjoy.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc000001d, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff80002e9c669, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: ffffd000201cef58, Exception Record Address

Please re-read my post. It's best not to ask questions and just follow it to a tee, if interested in repairing issues.

Honestly, I just don't feel like explaining and feel I have done you a great service for free, as it is.

Think of it as if you received a kind act out of the blue.

Many thanks bro , i am sorry :D

i didn't understand correctly
Uninstall Kaspersky then use removal tool for it. Set Windows Defender and Windows Firewall to Automatic and start them too.

does it means first i have to uninstall kaspersky then use kaspersky removal tool , then set windows defender & firewall automatic & add to startup then will again install kaspersky ?

and another thing

Uninstall AMD video driver software normally and completely. Reboot. Install the latest WHQL driver again, and do not use CCC to make profiles or stuff like that, so AODDriver2.sys is not loaded.

does this mean i have to uninstall amd video driver , thn rebooot , then install WHQL driver (what is WHQL driver ?) , and how to stop CCC to make profile or stuff like that ?

Kindly explain bro , i m truly sorry

No about Kaspersky and the term "WHQL" works very well when Google is asked about what it means.

Hey mate,

I am not sure about how well Kaspersky functions, or whether or not it is interfering with your computer (some antivirus programs do, in fact!). If you are interested, you might find enjoyment in Avast! Free Antivirus instead, as it comes highly recommended due to its speed and reliability: AVAST 2014 | Download Free Antivirus Software for Virus Protection

'WHQL' just identifies the driver being installed for your Graphics. It is basically the same as stating that you need to install [the newest version of] your graphics card driver (from the manufacturer support website online). Hope this answers your questions!

If you need more help, please do not post any crash dumps created when Avast or any other 3rd party antivirus was installed.

That's a huge step backwards in repairing the machine.

Feel free to do so if the machine is clean of 3rd party antivirus.

Perhaps it's fixed already - but if not - we will need to look at hardware and I am simply just not going to do it unless the machine is ready for it as I've shown.

Hi Dust. Avast has caused numerous BSODs on machines and it is a software program that needs to be removed to fix them. For that reason, I correctly see it as a scourge to any efforts to fix a machine, especially when possibly having to move on to look at hardware.

He can install Avast - but if/when he needs more help, you will have to be the one to fix things from there, because as I said above - I will not touch it.

Please don't take it personally. I do not change my methodology for anyone.

You cannot possibly think all antivirus programs are bad to use? All posts you recommend to remove the antivirus. While this may be helpful in narrowing an issue, not all AV programs -cause- the issue. Any issue with Avast would likely have been the fault of the user, such as upgrading with an AV still running, or doing a complicated procedure that would be best if the AV were disabled. I would like to see this proven wrong.

I would recommend instead of requiring people to remove their antivirus programs before you help them, that you instead ask to disable their AV until the problem can be resolved. The fact remains that Avast has been proven to stop attacks more efficiently than Defender, and runs quicker than Defender. If you desire a better AV, don't use Defender. Microsoft itself announced that defender should not be used in place of a better downloaded AV.

Though definitely do not want 2 antiviruses installed at the same time. Kaspersky OR Avast (or use defender if you really want instead), but I am very much less familiar about Kaspersky. Not trying to detract from what you're trying to do MC, but suggesting there are other ways that might help people not get so pissed at all your posts

I would recommend instead of requiring people to remove their antivirus programs before you help them, that you instead ask to disable their AV until the problem can be resolved.

I would recommend that you leave the methodology of the person that has solved most BSODs online in the history of the world (that I am aware of - I know all the major sites) alone and leave his methods be - because for sure, he knows what he is doing.

While this may be helpful in narrowing an issue, not all AV programs -cause- the issue.

Yes. Every single antivirus ever created in the history of the world can and does crash Windows, with the exception of Defender/MSE.

So now that recommendations have been made, all can move on and life is good. :)

P.S. - When you learn that disabling antivirus does not help because drivers are still active in memory, perhaps you can speak about things better.

Ok. Since I have already shown a lot of what is behind solving crash issues, I feel I've done well enough for the community.

With that, I have decided to refrain from offering any further help.

It simply is not worth it for me to be interfered with.

Best of luck to all with issues.

How did an av debate get involved anyway? What was the purpose of that?
