I have an Asus laptop model X501A. A few months ago I had to get the hard drive replaced which Asus did themselves and ever since then I have been getting BSOD and low memory errors while playing Dota 2. My computer always ran the game fine before this. I can still run the game for the most part but I get the memory error every time. I can usually just close the error and continue playing, but it has gotten to the point where I blue screen multiple times a day during game. I have also heard that Windows 8.1 might be the reasoning behind this as well. I do not know much about computers and I am not sure whether I used the SF Diagnostic tool correctly, but I am attaching the zip file. Help will be greatly appreciated. Sorry if I have not used the SF Diagnostic Tool correctly please help me with that too if I used that incorrectly. Let me know of any additional information you may need. Thanks.

No crash dumps included at all.

Update ASUS ATK and Probe II in Downloads/Utilities:

ASMMAP64 ASMMAP64 Kernel 7/2/2009 5:13:26 AM
ATKWMIACPIIO ATKWMIACPI Driver Kernel 9/6/2011 9:44:52 PM

Uninstall Norton 360 then use removal tool also. Set Windows Firewall and Windows Defender to Automatic and start them too, using services.msc.

Enjoy.

Then I am not sure how to attach the dump files. I created the mini dump like the instructions said last night. I BSOD this morning, then used the Diagnostic tool. I cannot make much sense from the rest of your post either.

I am not sure how to update either of these

ASMMAP64 ASMMAP64 Kernel 7/2/2009 5:13:26 AM
ATKWMIACPIIO ATKWMIACPI Driver Kernel 9/6/2011 9:44:52 PM

I do not know what these mean either.

Is Norton causing problems as well? Should i completely delete it?
