Hi. (Win 7, huh? :) )

Yes, if the video driver is not in exact state from NVIDIA.com, uninstall then install from there. If it is, then good.

Update ATK from Downloads/Utilities at motherboard site:

ASMMAP64 ASMMAP64.sys Thu Jul 02 05:13:26 2009 (4A4C7A36)

Update Realtek HD Audio driver:

RTKVHD64 RTKVHD64.sys Tue May 22 06:19:20 2012 (4FBB6828)

Update Intel storage driver from Intel.com:

iaStor iaStor.sys Tue Apr 26 14:06:18 2011 (4DB7099A)

If overclocking anything, set default speeds.

If any issues persist, install the video driver package from ASUS for both the Intel/NVIDIA switchable graphics. Clean fan(s) if necessary.

Which laptop do you have, exactly?

You shouldn't have that asmmap64.sys installed at all then, if it is not an ASUS model.

After you tell me, we'll see about things.

Uninstall original ATK package first, then install new.

Yes, that's correct for INF. For IRST, just download and run SetupRST.exe.

You're welcome.

Double check in Device Manager that new audio driver is installed. All the time, people mess that up and don't follow what it says to get it installed well.
