BSODs at startup or from sleep - can anyone read dumps?

I have a Samsung Series 5 laptop that I got last summer that has given me a series of problems, the biggest of which was the Windows 8.1 upgrade. That's been undone now and it boots properly and works well again, except that when starting up, or waking from sleep, it will restart and give me the little message that says my computer had a problem and had to restart and do I want to send the dumps to Microsoft. It used to do this before Win8.1, but in the 8.1 catastrophe I kind of had put it out of my mind. It has done it twice in the past 24 hours and I tried to read my minidumps but of course cannot without installing the whole SDK which I hope not to do. I downloaded the diagnostic tool and ran it and have the result to attach. I hope this is right.

I apologize if I don't respond right away to private messages - it appears I am not getting notifications from the forums even though I believe I have them turned on.

The PC is a Samsung running Windows 8, 64bit. I have Online Armor firewall, Emsisoft Antimalware, and Avast antivirus. Please let me know if I have omitted anything. I have the minidumps zipped up, if they are not included in the diagnostic file. Thanks to everyone who runs such a great forum - every Windows 8 question I google for leads me to an excellent answer here.

Uninstall Armor firewall, uninstall Emsisoft Antimalware, uninstall Avast antivirus.

Set Windows Defender and Windows Firewall to Automatic and start them too.

Delete this driver:


Then open Regedit and delete its subkey found at the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services

Reboot, then fix your DVD drive like this:

Would you mind explaining a little bit about why you say that is the fix for my problem? Did you see something to indicate that one of my security programs is the issue, or that my DVD drive is the issue? I'm reluctant to embark on these steps if I don't understand why I'd be taking them. Thanks!

I feel well and confident about advice given, and also feel I've done more than enough to help the machine. Of course, it's your machine so you dictate what is done and what is not done.
