Every time I play a game I keep getting a low memory error massage then my computer crashes :/ Please help! (Btw, this only happened when I'm playing League of Legends, not any other game)
I'm running a Asus laptop on Inter i3 with Intel HD Graphics 4000 (I believe).
The message is: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (igdkmd64.sys)

Give this a little try:

Right click on the desktop icon for the game. If there is not icon there, make one.

Then, right click it and choose Properties, then go to Compatibility tab. Check the box for "Disable Desktop Composition" then click OK.

Try your game again.

Also, if there is any newer patch for the game, install it.

If those two things didn't help you, update:

iaStorA iaStorA.sys Sat Sep 01 21:01:24 2012 (5042AFE4)

The first two should be in Download/Utilities section for your laptop @ its manufacturer's site. (Even if you have to check Windows 7 updates and 8 is not available.)

The iaStorA can be updated from Intel.com (better) or laptop maker's site.

The other Dptf drivers can be Googled to see what they belong to -OR- hold off on them for now until we see about them.

Ok, do the other things and if necessary, we will revisit that by disabling the DWM service for testing purposes, if needed.

I'm at my laptop's manufacture site (Asus) but now I've found that I don't exactly know what the driver's name are (ASMMAP64.sys and atkwmiacpi64.sys) so I'm not sure what to download
(I'm sorry I'm not very "computer smart", I'm still learning)

Forgive me, I've had a few drinks, and quite honestly, I'm lazy as all hell at the moment. lol :)

You say you're learning? I can't credit you enough then. Another :)

Can you please just simply tell me your model and I'll see what I can do? (If you can't say exact, let me know and I'll figure it out.)
