Hi

here is my speccy snapshot

http://speccy.piriform.com/results/lPNXjhd0AFTuV3TL5SZS8vo

i got a little freezing while loading my system ,, usually it take second to load all the programs ,, i waited 2 min before i can open my browser

--------------------------------------

i did run the verifier and i couldn't get into my desktop because of the BSOD of the driver nvlddmkm.sys which is clearly part of nvidia driver ( my GPU )

so i went on Safe mode and uninstall the whole nvidia drivers ,, i will try and find old driver and see if this make any difference

* i installed a newer beta driver but the same BSOD happend again when i try to play

hope these information will help

Thanks

Hi

Please try the below steps.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools

"Daemon Tools" is a known BSOD causer and besides that Windows 8 came with in house options to mount ISO files without the help of third party tools. So please uninstall it completely.

How to mount an ISO image in Windows 8

2. Uninstall EVGA Precision.

This software is known to cause BSOD by automatically modifying critical voltage, frequency settings of the graphics card. It should be uninstalled.

3. Reset system BIOS.

Clear the CMOS first and then load default values to make sure both CPU and RAM are working on unmodified voltage and frequency settings. Let the BIOS to decide what is best for the system.

4. Update SSD firmware.

Hi

BSOD 0x7A KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR is storage related. What this error means, system having difficulty to read or write to the Pagefile located on the hard drive. Failing HDD, defective cabling, outdated storage controller driver etc are the main reason behind this BSOD. Although not common, Rootkit infections are also known to cause this BSOD.

Please try the below steps.

1. Change SATA data cable and reset the power cable.

Make sure the cable you are using is a high quality SATA 6GB/s one. Standard 3Gb/s cable may create problem with SSD drives.

2. If that didn't helps, switch the SATA port used to connect the SSD.

I would also suggest doing a full surface test using the trial version of HDTunePro.

3. Additionally scan for any Rootkits in the system using the below tools.

Kaspersky TDSS Killer : TDSSKiller Download

Malwarebytes Antirootkit : Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit Download

Please disable Avira before running these tools.

Let me know your findings in next reply.

update:

i tried to run battelfield4 and got BSOD

On Wed 12/25/2013 4:40:40 PM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\122513-4531-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x14DCA0)

file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a critical system process died.
There is a possibility this problem was caused by a virus or other malware.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

i started to think its from the game itself because i'm running many GPU benchmark programs and everything is OK,, but i will try to run other games today and let you know

Hi

What you need to run is the Error Scan feature of HDtunePro which will do a full surface scan to detect bad sectors. If there are errors, they will be marked with red color in the map.

1562sg7.png

Once the scan is complete and if there is no error detected, please complete the Rootkit scan i suggested in the previous post.

If there is no malware in the system, please update the storage controller driver. First uninstall Intel Rapid Storage Technology from Control Panel --> Programs. Then download and install this version - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/co...=Intel®+Rapid+Storage+Technology+(Intel®+RST)

If that also doesn't seems to help, please enable Driver Verifier as per instructions from Driver Verifier - BSOD related - Sysnative Forums

"Verifier" will stress test all the third party programs and create a blue screen immediately if a violation detected. After you got more than one BSOD, please rerun the "SF Diagnostic tool" and upload the latest crash dump with next reply.

Hi Anshad

all test are Clean ,, no errors ,, no Malwares or rootkit

View attachment 33989
i didn't find the Intel RST in the program or in the Device managers
i installed it anyway but its not running ,, i will go check the bios if its disabled from there. ( now its running after restart )

i'm running the Driver Verifier already ( i mentioned that in my 2nd reply ) ,, no additional or suprising BSOD beside the ones i'm having now

Thanks
