After having updated 8 to 8.1 after official release some weeks my computer did not run well at all. In my post from 3 weeks ago (performance and maintenance) I reported doing a sfc/scannow in which corrupted files were found but unable to repair. Following the instructions on this forum I carried out a "online/clean-up/restorehealth" this was completed with the result "Result: The restore operation completed successfully. The component store corruption..."
Some days later my computer went into blue screen (BSOD) from which I was unable to get out of. Finally I took the only option open to me (as far as I knew/capabilities ) and used the Lenovo restore option, reverting back to Windows 8.
(This probably happened on December 10th since I have 2 Critical Kernal-Power 41 listed)
At first I did not want to update to 8.1 again, but in the end I did - about 5 days ago. This time I first contacted Lenovo about updating drivers. They told me to update the following (after installing 8.1):
Chipset: Intel chipset Driver for Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Version : 9.4.0.1022
Video: CPP2 AMD DISCRETE VGA CARD DRIVER for Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Version: 13.152
Audio: Realtek Audio Driver for Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Version: 6.0.1.7030
LAN: Realtek Lan Driver for Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Version: 8.018.0621.2013
STORAGE: Intel RST Driver for Windows 8.1 (64-bit) - Desktop Version: 12.8.0.1016
Which I did.
Today (20/12/13) the computer went into BSOD again (only not as serious as last time) and restarted.
Because I did not have time to read the BSOD text I have now d-activated the automatic restart (don't know if this is good or not - please advise?)
I have downloaded the Brink software and the zip will be uploaded - also what I hope is the correct Dump file.
The computer has a GERMAN Language system!
ADDITIONAL INFO
Please Note - I am a novice so the following might be completely wrong
POSSIBLE AREA OF SUSPICION
One thing I have noted in the two versions 8 and 8.1 is that of the - USB Disconnect Icon
In 8 this works immediately = (which means) when I click ob icon the small window showing me the USB connections which I can select opens immediately - and all USB connections are shown and I can select one and it is immediately free for disconnection (when not still being used)
In 8.1 this "does not" work immediately = you get a delay period with a whirring sound (computer working ) and after several moments the USB selection screen finally opens. Sometimes I have to click a couple of times.
Every day I charge a small MP3 player on my computer
In 8 this works without any problem = (this means) the MP3 blue light blinks while charging and turns to steady light when charged. It is listed in USB window and disconnects without any trouble immediately after pressing USB icon.
In 8.1 the MP3 is not listed in USB icon list (although the content file window of the MP3 has opened in main screen of computer) also I noted today that the charging of MP3 was sporadic = (this means)the blue MP3 light blinked for a while and then there was no light at all, but later it started charging/blinking again.
Lenovo do not offer a USB driver update for Windows 8.1
Computer is a Lenovo desktop H430, i3-3220 3.3, 1 T, 8 GB memory
***The BSOD is listed as 41 with (63) task category - what is 63 task category? What area does this cover? (USB?)

Malwarebytes Free was running a Full Scan at time of todays BSOD
