Please help with the BSOD..PFA..
The crash dumps seems to blame the LAN adapter driver so the issue seems to be related to network interface.
Code:>[ 16, 2] 0 e1 fffffa8005723050 00000000 fffff8038cfeeda0-fffffa800937e510 Success Error Cancel pending Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Rt630x64.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for Rt630x64.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for Rt630x64.sys \Driver\RTL8168 nt!PopSystemIrpCompletion
Please try the below steps one by one.
1. Update Ethernet driver.
Download and install Win8 and Win8.1 Auto Installation Program from Realtek
2. If the issue continues, please uninstall Vmware completely as a test. It's virtual network adapter drivers are known to interfere with physical network adapter drivers.
Let us know your findings in next reply.
I will try first by uninstalling the vmware player and if BSOD still occurs i will try by updating the drivers and will let you know..
Thankx for the reply..
got BSOD while shutting down the laptop, have updated the drivers, will post with the result..
got BSOD today while putting the laptop on sleep...only chrome and firefox were open while putting the laptop on sleep...drivers have been updated already..attaching the two latest memory dumps...
As like the previous crashes, Realtek LAN is the one which still causing the issue. But the driver seems to be updated correctly as you said.

Realtek PCI/PCIe Adapters
I suspect some other network related driver is preventing the Ethernet adapter from switching power states.
Please try the below steps.
1. Set power plan to Balanced.
Power Plan Settings - Change in Windows 8
2 . Disable power management feature of Ethernet adapter.
To do it, open Device Manager and right click on the Realtek Ethernet Adapter and choose Properties. On the Power Management tab, deselect Allow this computer to Turn Off This Device option.
3. Check whether there is a BIOS update available for your model on HP support site.
HP Support, Drivers, Contact and Help Forums | HP ® Support
4. If nothing helps, please uninstall Bitdefender AV as a test to rule out the possibility of it's firewall driver interfering with the LAN. You can re-install the latest version later after checking how the system works.
Thnx for the quick reply..
There seems to be no power plan named "Balanced". There are only Energy Star qualified(recommended) which is currently selected , Power Saver,High Performance mentioned here..However i disabled the feature which you mentioned.. I dont think Bitdefender is a culprit here bcoz i had kaspersky internet security installed and with that i was facing the same issue...
got BSOD again while putting the laptop on sleep..done the steps mentioned above i.e. updated the drivers and unchecked the option.. attached the dump file
Currently i am away from home so i will check the dumps you uploaded when i get back. Can you please check whether the BSOD happens when the laptop is not connected to the internet ?. That is disconnect the Ethernet/WiFi and enter the sleep mode.
Before putting the laptop on sleep, disconnected the ethernet cable and then put it on sleep.. still getting BSOD..It is intermittent,,sometimes it goes to sleep mode with no issues while the cable is disconnected..I do not have a wifi connection..uploaded the latest dump..
