Ok everyone i am new to alot of this windows stuff..
about my problem: i turned off my computer last night woke up this morning and a blue screen popped up saying "Recovery Your PC needs to be repaired
A required device isnt connected or cant be accessed

the problem is i dont have a disc of any type to fix it my computer came with a ke i do not havey to type in... now unfortunately i do not have that key. i need help with any solution please i have only had this computer for about 7 months. please help me find a solution to my problem
Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!
You can order recovery media from the manufacturer. Here's information for most of the manufacturer's that supply PC's in the US: Order Recovery Discs (USA)
Pretty sure that it has one, but haven't checked inside the case!

has switchable - Intel/ATI - Used wrong drivers, now ATI card is inop :( Will have to fix it soon!

I'm nearly deaf, so this isn't used often

Touchscreen on laptop/32" Toshiba on HDMI (laid the Sharp TV on a mouse and cracked the screen!)

One Samsung 1tB drive - 5400 rpm. Gonna switch to a 7200/10000 rpm or an SSD (if I can find $500 for a 1tB SSD!)

sorry i have an IBuyPower pc not sure which instalation disc to buy. i may end up calling ibuypower or microsoft to see what i can do if they can diagnose my problem im just not sure what to do now..
Contact iBuyPower and see what they have to say. I'm not familiar with them, but most system manufacturer's have a 1 year warranty on the hardware - and this might be a failed hard drive.
Also, it's usually cheaper to get a set of recovery disks from the PC manufacturer than it is to buy a new copy of the OS from Microsoft. And the PC Manufacturer usually includes the needed drivers and some free software - where Microsoft does not.
