Hi everyone,

Recently bought a MSI Dragon Edition 2 for gaming, keep getting BSOD and tried returning it to get told
they can only repair it. ( will ship to America to get serviced, in Saudi Arabia, don't trust these people )
So I'm stuck with it! Was going to take it back for an Alienware 18x.
I can't bring it to get it serviced because I work overseas and won't be home until the middle of Jan.

description Of Problem:

I get BSOD at random times, yes random times not app related. I can let it crash and restart, and not even log into my computer and it will eventually crash with BSOD from the log in screen!

I'm not familiar with your USB mobile ethernet device - but have seen network problems with wireless USB network devices in the past. Ensure that you have the latest, Win8.1 compatible drivers installed. At least 3 of the BSOD's show USB involvement - so this is a prime suspect for your problems. Also, it's drivers date from 2011, so it may not be compatible w/Win8.1 - make sure that you update it with 8.1 drivers.

These devices have problems in Device Manager. Please install the latest, Win8.1 compatible drivers for each device:
Network Controller PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0034&SUBSYS_20031A56&REV_01\4&3B2676B&0&00E3 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Bluetooth Audio Device BTHENUM\{61118058-486C-4BB0-B4B8-ACE4DCADEC44}_LOCALMFG&0000\8&A00F103&0&000000000000_00000000 This device cannot start.

Ethernet Controller PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_E091&SUBSYS_10EC1462&REV_13\4&39E5DA20&0&00E2 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Virtual Bluetooth Support (Include Audio) BTHENUM\{CBECAB40-A2C8-4AB3-ADC1-DE0FE95D8600}_LOCALMFG&0000\8&A00F103&0&000000000000_00000000 This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.

Bluetooth LWFLT Device BTHENUM\{DD533152-01F4-435C-ABFE-984BC21A2A65}_LOCALMFG&0000\8&A00F103&0&000000000000_00000000 This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.

Uninstall MSI Afterburner (if installed).

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web.
