So my computer's hardware is pretty old, but till now it was working very well. Now I've got 2-3 BSODs a day with a message pointing to win32k.sys. My OS is Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and my hardware is in my profile. Here's my zip with logs. Thanks in advance!

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    Windows 8.1 Pro
    Computer type
    PC/Desktop
    CPU
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz
    Motherboard
    Asus P5B Deluxe
    Memory
    6 Gb
    Graphics Card(s)
    NVidia Geforce GT220
    Browser
    Internet Explorer
    Antivirus
    Eset NOD 32 5.0
The first thing I'd like to discuss is that the system might not be compatible with Win8.1
If that's the case, then we'll continue to see errors despite all of our efforts.
In that case, the only option will be to revert to a previous version of Windows

Your BIOS dates from 2008. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD. I usually can't see this info in the reports, so I rely on you to check it.
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to. If involved these should be visible in the memory dump - but it doesn't hurt to check manually.

Drivers aren't installed for your Creative Game Port:
PCI устройство ввода PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_7003&SUBSYS_00401102&REV_03\4&E6D76C4&0&11F0 Для этого устройства не установлены драйверы.
Please download and install the latest, Win8.1 compatible drivers for this device.
Just FYI - the other drivers for your Creative device date from 2007. They are most likely NOT compatible with Win8.1 and MUST be updated

Lot's of Live Kernel Events in the WER section of MSINFO32 (may be a sign of low-level problems). Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

Antivirus software dates from 2011 - it MUST be updated to a Win8.1 compatible version

Uninstall the Asus PCProbe software - it dates from 2009

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web.
