Random Restarts, Freezes and Crashes

I've had this Dell XPS for the last 3 years I guess and over the past 4 or 5 months, my computer has been randomly restarting, freezing and now today crashing. Sometimes I'll be on it and it will restart, sometimes I won't even be near it when it restarts. Last week I was on it and my screen went half blue, but I could still see part of my browser but it was frozen. So I just had to cut power. Here is a picture of said incident. http://i.imgur.com/LgkwKV1.jpg

I've also had it freeze and then I come in the room and my tower sounds like a jet engine and I have to turn it off. Then yesterday the blue (as seen above) cascaded down my screen, froze and gave me the BSOD. I've had 3 crashes in less then 24 hours and I'm at a loss as to what to do. I think I have every driver updated, but maybe I'm missing something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Monitor your temps. Use this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
I'm guessing that that's what's causing the "jet engine" effect.

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

There is an unknown USB device on your system. Please let us know what USB devices that you have connected. Also, if there's some built-in devices that aren't working, let us know.

There are no memory dumps in the uploaded reports and many Live Kernel Events (in the WER section of MSINFO32), Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).
