BSOD - Crashed when "Scan for hardware change"

My computer freezes every time I look for hardware changes in device manager. First time I got the BSOD (CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT) was when i tried to reinstall my on-board LAN card. Since then every time i open device manager and look for hardware changes it freezes on me. At the begining i thought was a problem with my motherboard , but I sent it back to ASUS and they said there was nothing wrong with it. Have tried reinstalling windows several times without any success. Other than that, the computer is working perfectly.

This are my computer specs:

I tried to get the dump files from the BSOD but i havent get it since the last time i reinstall the system. When it freezes i can get the BSOD right away, sometimes it can take more than 30 to come up after it freezes.

This is everything i have connected to the computer. I dont know if this is a software or hardware related issue.

Any help or suggestions will be really appreciated. I am even willing to pay someone that can get me out of this problem 100%.

Please read the instructions here: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions, and post back with the needed information. One of our BSOD experts should be by afterwards to further help.

There are no dump files in the uploaded reports, please do this:

Upload Dump Files:
NOTE: If using a disk cleaning utility, please stop using it while we are troubleshooting your issues.
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service. Then post the link to it in your topic so that we can download it.

Also, search your entire hard drive for files ending in .dmp, .mdmp, and .hdmp. Zip up any that you find and upload them with your next post.

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:

1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD. I usually can't see this info in the reports, so I rely on you to check it.
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to. If involved these should be visible in the memory dump - but it doesn't hurt to check manually.

There may be issues w/AVG (depends on who you talk to). Uninstall AVG (temporarily) and see if that helps. Be sure to have Windows Defender and Windows Firewall turned on after uninstalling AVG.

EDIT: Please check to see that each and every driver/program is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web.

EDIT2: Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).
