BSODs on acer v3-772g

I've had this laptop for a little over two months now and so far it has been a bumpy ride indeed.
Initially it had windows 8, which I promptly changed to windows 7 because I'm afraid of change or something. I had trouble finding drivers for it and so I found the system to be rather unstable. I reinstalled windows 8 and thought I would be golden. I wasn't.
Between then and now I've tried acer drivers, windows recommended drivers, non-oem drivers, new bios versions, old bios versions and I've done several complete reinstalls of windows 8 (no refreshing). I've now done a complete reinstall of windows 8.1 and have installed all the windows 8.1 drivers provided by acer and newest non-oem drivers available that acer didn't provide. The BSODs are still happening, just today I had two, yesterday I also had two and so on... They happen completely at random as far as I can tell, but usually no more than twice a day.
I'm just hoping it isn't a hardware problem, because that would make studying really difficult since I'm studying programming and this is the only computer I have available atm.
Oeh, I should note that it crashes even when I don't have anything installed other than drivers.
And before you blame my poor razer mouse, it crashes even when I haven't installed it's drivers or plugged it in.

PS: Sorry for the wall of text :p

I have a v3-771G for just a few months. I left 8 on it and have had no crashes like you describe. First thing I see that you don't mention is have you run a memory test?

I actually haven't... I don't know why :p gonna run one over night. I actually kinda hope it's something as fixable as a bad stick of ram.

Ran memtest86 for 10 hours, it made 3 passes and not a single error. Gonna continue with a prime95 test tonight.
What about the minidumps? Anything pointing to something I could try?

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD. I usually can't see this info in the reports, so I rely on you to check it.
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to. If involved these should be visible in the memory dump - but it doesn't hurt to check manually.

Just to be sure that this isn't a 3rd party driver issue, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Out of 6 memory dumps there were 5 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

The firmware for the SSD is the latest (DXT80B0Q). The SATA contoller is also running the latest intel driver.
I'll try running with driver verifier enabled for a couple of days or until enough BSODs have occurred.

Start the hardware diagnostics now. You can run them while Driver Verifier is working.

I've been running with driver verifier enabled for a while now, what I've noticed is that even though the cpu doesn't get particularly stressed it sorta "stutter" when I open webpages, programs and resize windows. When listening to music while it has these lags, the music starts to sound like aphex twin :p glitches and skipping, there's no screen corruption though, it just "stutters" like you see in video games. For some reason I haven't had a single BSOD today... It is sure to come at some point though.

Depending on the settings and your system - Driver Verifier can cause these symptoms (but so can a dead/dying hard drive).
The hardware diagnostics are the most important thing to run right now.

Well, I fixed the stutter by updating the bios from v1.08 to v1.13. I actually had v1.13 a week ago, but even back then it crashed so I decided to try downgrading because you never know. If I run into another bsod, I'll do the hardware diagnostics.
