Hi all,
Since I upgraded to Windows 8.1 (from 8.0) I'm experiencing BSOD a while after Windows has started (about 30 seconds).
I updated all my drivers by different means to be sure all is up to date.

But the problem is always here... Help should be very appreciate to help me fix this problem.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi

Your issue seems to be caused by incompatible drivers of your M-Audio MIDI device.

Code:
BugCheck 9F, {3, ffffe00004bff060, fffff8014ae96840, ffffe00007ea4800}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for [COLOR=#ff0000][B]MAudioFastTrackUltra.sys[/B][/COLOR]
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for MAudioFastTrackUltra.sys
Probably caused by : MAudioFastTrackUltra.sys

The driver seems to be very old, probably Windows 7 version.

Code:
Loaded symbol image file: MAudioFastTrackUltra.sys Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\MAudioFastTrackUltra.sys
    Image name: MAudioFastTrackUltra.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR=#ff0000][B]Wed Jan 12 01:42:17 2011[/B][/COLOR] (4D2CB9A1)

Please uninstall the M-Audio drivers completely from the system. Then download and install the Windows 8 version from the below link.

Thanks for your help.
I updated all drivers apart this one because M-audio was sold to Avid and it was very hard to find a newer driver...
It worked on Windows 8.0 but 8.1 seems to have many change that are causing a lot of little troubles (a lot of friends testing 8.1 have such problems).
Well, searching more I found a Avid driver for Fast Track Ultra (external pro audio card ), it is dated 2013 but there is no mention about Windows 8...
At least it is a x64 driver and I hope it will work better.

I will let this thread open a few days, just to test and if all is ok I'll mark it as "answered".
Else I will send another minidump to check if the driver for this device is always the culprit or if there is another problem elsewhere.

Thanks again.

Well, it seems there is no more BSOD since I changed the driver even if the latter is not certified W8. But as it is dated from this summer I think they have at least corrected some problems.
I thank you again for your help.
I mark this thread as answered.
