Hi

Most of the crash dumps shows BugCheck 7A KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR.

Code:
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff6e000000150, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: ffffffffc000009c, error status (normally i/o status code)
Arg3: 0000000072fdd880, current process (virtual address for lock type 3, or PTE)
Arg4: ffffc0000002a090, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE addres

The second parameter is c000009c which means the disk subsystem experienced a failure. Please follow the below steps.

1 . Replace the SATA cable if it is a desktop or remove and reconnect the hard drive if it is a laptop. This will solve any potential contact issues.

2. Run disk diagnostic.

Hard Drive Diagnostic Procedure

Since Samsung HDD division is now owned by Seagate, you can use Seagate saetools to to test the disk drive. What you need to run is the "Long Generic test" which scans the entire disk surface.

SeaTools for Windows | Seagate

http://www.seagate.com/staticfiles/support/downloads/seatools/docs/SeaTools%20for%20Windows.en-US.pdf

3. If the drive passes the test, please turn off Fast Startup by reading instructions from the below link.

This will solve STOP 0x7A with old storage controllers which are not really compatible with Windows 8.

Please post your findings in next reply.

Hello,

Sorry for the late answer i was out of the country.
1. I did replace the cable. Same occurences happen.
2. Seatools doesn't see my HDD.
3. Did that, still the same.

I uploaded a new log archive if it helps.

Thank you

Hi

BSOD 0x7A is still the crash you are experiencing.

Code:
Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

[COLOR=#ff0000][B]BugCheck 7A[/B][/COLOR], {fffff6e8001240a0, ffffffffc000009c, 4bbf5be0, ffffd00024814000}

Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+187d3 )

As i said earlier, it is a storage related crash. A failing hard drive, cable issues, faulty storage driver etc are the major reasons behind this BSOD. Your system seems to be using incompatible Windows 7 version of chipset driver which includes the storage driver.

You should get rid of the incompatible drivers (especially the SATA controller driver) from the system. Please try the below steps.

1. Open Control Panel --> Programs and uninstall Nvidia Nforce driver or any other Nvidia driver present in the system. Reboot the system to complete the operation.

2. Open Device Manger and expand the IDE/ATA ATAPI Controllers. Right click on the NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller an choose uninstall. If Delete Driver Option is present, please select that also and press OK to remove the driver. Reboot the machine to complete.

If Nvidia seems to be listed under Storage Controllers category also, repeat the same steps. Hopefully Windows will remove the old drivers and use the generic storage controller driver which might solve the BSOD.

Let me know your findings with next reply.

Btw, Creative audio driver is also seems to be a Windows 7 one.

well i deleted what you said and at first the computer did not boot anymore. but now it did and it automatically installed the nvidia drivers back, and i can't replace the creative drivers because they didn't update the sound card anymore so i am stuck with those.
so i am back to square 1.
