Hello Gurus,

This is my first post and I hope someone can help me.

Unfortunately I was unable to make the SF_Diagnostic_Tool work to collect the logs hence I am posting the output of !analyze -v and I am uploading the memory dump.

rtbth.sys is currently versione 2.9.7.2.

0: kd> !analyze -v

The above shows rtbth.sys as the cause, this particular driver is used by your Ralink Bluetooth Adapter. You should update it.

Use either the standard manufacturer driver or HP's own driver (Ralink Bluetooth Software Driver)

Is there any chance thst BSOD is caused why I plug in my external USB HD or it is just a coincidence

There is no mention of the involvement of USB drivers in the dump so nope.

I have already installed latest version of the driver from HP website, however I will reinstall it.
What can I do if I keep on having this issue ?

Disable the Bluetooth Adapter until the manufacturer releases a certified version, do NOT install drivers which were not intended to be used on Windows 8.1.
