After years of crashing

Hello everyone.

I have my pc about 2-3 years, and from the beginning there were some crashes and blue screens occasionally.
I ran some memory tests a couple of times, had a friend updating my bios, but still nothing.
I was patient, but a few months ago the crashes were increasing, in the point that I could not boot the pc without 2-3 restarts.
So I decided to buy an SSD disk (thinking that the HDD may be the problem) and buy windows 8.
This was a good move anyway, but the blue screens started appearing again.
Now the problem is frequent, I have blue screens all the time, when restarting and when working,
and 1 of 2 times windows cannot shut down properly, and I have to push the power button for some seconds to close.

So I found the forum and followed the instructions to upload the crash files.

If anyone can help me, I would be really appreciated.
Thanks in regards,

Dimitris

I have to go to the device management and check them one by one,
to search automatically to the internet for updates, right?

I thought I did, but I just found an update for my graphics card.

It is best to download drivers directly from the company's website.

I used the automatic search once & it gave me a wrong driver.

Look at the device & driver name & Google for a newer driver.

That's my advice. :)

EDIT-

I use DriverMax Pro.

DriverMax

They have a free version also.
I had BSODs because I had outdated drivers on Win 8 Pro.
After updating my drivers the BSODs went away.( 17 outdated drivers ! )
With DriverMax you have the option to let it install updates or go directly to the outdated driver's website to get it there.
