Hi,
I build a system few months ago and never had time to test everything. Now that I've time I'm testing it as many possible ways. Some are;
* tested with bare bones hardware (board, cpu, GPU or integrated, SSD, RAM, keyboard (usb or ps2), mouse, H100i or defult)
* tested with one stick of ram on different slots
* GPU on different slots
* Integrated graphics
* Clean windows... multiple times

But no luck. I keep getting WHEA error. It happens less doing normal stuff. As soon as I start a game within a couple of minutes it gives up. So, I started stress testing. I have never overclocked any of my hardware as I never could get to a stable state. I've upgraded my bios and updated widows and all but no luck. I hope you guys will get me closer to sort this out.

My specs;
MSI MPOWER Z77 (Big Bang)
3770K
Corsair HX 750
patriot viper 2133 (2x8GB kit, but running only one stick for tests)
HD 7970 Asus Direct CU II
Samsung 840 pro 256GB
Microsoft mouse and keyboard (USB)
I've attached my files here.

Thanks heaps in advance.
san.

Sorry that didn't work for you. I have no exposure in this area so hang in there and one of the gurus will be along to do the proper analysis. Good luck.

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I normally don't interfere in topics that other helpers are working (I don't have the time to read all topics in detail). I suggest, in the future, that sending a PM to me would help to speed up my response time.

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to.

Although these are all STOP 0x124 errors (usually hardware), there are several software items that may be causing problems here:
- Corsair Link is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems. Please uninstall it.
- Western Digital software with drivers dating from 2008 (as your wdcsam64.sys does) are known to cause BSOD's. Please uninstall it also.
- secdrv.sys (a Windows driver) dates from 2006. Updated installations will have it dating from 2012 - please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates.
- MSI Live Update (NTIOLib_X64.sys) may be causing BSOD's. Please uninstall it temporarily. Feel free to reinstall the latest version once the system has been stabilized (no more BSOD's).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

MBfilt64.sys Thu Jul 30 23:40:32 2009 (4A7267B0)
Realtek HiDefinition Audio driver (file labelled as Creative Audio Driver)
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=MBfilt64.sys

athurx.sys Mon Jan 4 22:23:16 2010 (4B42B0A4)
Atheros AR9271 Wireless Network Adapter
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=athurx.sys

If the BSOD's continue after all of these fixes are done, then the problem is most likely hardware. Please run these free hardware diagnostics in order to get a start at isolating the problem component: Hardware Diagnostics

Thanks heaps. I did updated my audio driver but Atheros didn' have any downloadables for win8 64 in the site link. I usually keep my wireless and bluetooth adaptor disabled in bios. Still same problem. I'm almost convinced that one of my hardware is not right. I'll run the diagnostics and try to figure out what up.
Thanks heaps for helping out.
San.

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I normally don't interfere in topics that other helpers are working (I don't have the time to read all topics in detail). I suggest, in the future, that sending a PM to me would help to speed up my response time.

Please start a new thread whenever looking for help. Since you posted here already, we can continue here, but in the future...heh heh. And welcome.

First, make sure bios is set to Optimized Defaults, then save.

Your machine thinks there is a hardware problem and that is never good. I'm fairly convinced though that it is freaking out because of this Agere modem driver:

Code:
 agrsm64  agrsm64.sys  Mon Nov 10 10:01:35 2008 (49184CCF)

Update it from here or from the laptop's manufacturer.

If that is not the cause, this old Synaptics touchpad driver is, so update this too:

Code:
 SynTP    SynTP.sys    Fri Sep 14 22:11:07 2007 (46EB3F3B)

In the latest crash dump, Synaptics has not been updated yet:

Synaptics has been updated.

For now, I would go into the Device Manager and disable the modem, then reboot, because we both know you don't use it ever lol.

Have you done this yet? - "First, make sure bios is set to Optimized Defaults, then save."

If the machine is stable, then we'll get a driver for it. If not, at least it will be ruled out.

Modem disabled;
Bios set to Optimized Defaults;
same BSOD;
:cry:

Ok, then it really is a hardware issue.

Step 1 is to disassemble the machine and clean all dust and debris from the fans and air pathways.

Code:
Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
