Raid Drivers Crashing

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 64 bit to Windows 8 64 bit professional. I have random crashes which seem to be because of the Raid drivers according to the MB manufacturer. They are telling me to do a fresh install of windows 8 to fix this. I was wondering if there are any ways to manually install the raid drivers after the OS has been installed? I have a lot of work programs on this computer which will take me days with tech support to get my activation keys reset so if possible I want to avoid this. I am not sure what information I should provide since I know the cause of this. I have listed my system specs below. If you need anything further to give me some advice just let me know and I will get back to you

1 - 4TB HDD from Seagate
Amd FX8320 CPU
Saphire 7970 6GB version
16 GB (2 sticks of 8 GB) of 1866 AMD DDR3 Memory

Ok, well I reinstalled Windows 8, followed Gigabytes instructions and I am still having the same issue. I can consistently get the computer to crash if I launch Windows Media player. It starts updating the library then it crashes. Other than that I just get a random crash every hour or so with the error message "Critical_process_failed" Any suggestions what to do next?

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!
Also, I was in the hospital on Friday and Saturday, so I got a bit behind in my own work!

First off, having reinstalled Windows and still having problems suggests that there's a hardware/low-level problem here.
The first thing to check is this:

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:

1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to.

No memory dumps in the uploaded reports. Please do this:

Upload Dump Files:
NOTE: If using a disk cleaning utility, please stop using it while we are troubleshooting your issues.
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service. Then post the link to it in your topic so that we can download it.

Also, search your entire hard drive for files ending in .dmp, .mdmp, and .hdmp. Zip up any that you find and upload them with your next post.

You have a Belkin Play Wireless USB Adapter:

I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices. Especially in Win7/Win8 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7(and I suspect with Win8) - using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win7/Win8 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

You've got at least 3 hard drives (probably more with the RAID array). What is the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply?

The wireless USB network device cannot start in Device Manager. Please uninstall it's software and physically remove the device from your system.

No evidence of BSOD's in the WER section of MSINFO32 either - so I have to wonder if the dumps are even being recorded. As such I'd start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.

Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLY: ATI video cards - DRIVER ONLY installation procedure - Sysnative Forums

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install". Reboot for changes to take affect.

Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's. If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.
