Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

HI. My 2 month old dell 13z has given me the BSOD 20 times. For some reason it only happens when I'm surfing the web using chrome, I haven't had any issues with ie. Any assistance would be appreciated as I prefer chrome over ie. Is it possible that since chrome doesn't have a specific version for win 8 64bit that it clashes with the os?

Since you already know it is a Chrome-related issue, have you tried an uninstall and reinstall?

This issue started around 3 months ago when i got a dell 13z inspiron as a gift. i had the same issues with chrome then and uninstalled and reinstalled chrome. the issue persisted and since i thought it was a problem with the computer i returned it to the store where it was bought and got a new one-the same model. i have been trying out firefox too and haven't had a problem. i searched online and found that chrome doesn't have a specific version to run on win 8 64bit. i just really want to know if anyone else has this problem, is it widespread to all win 8 users or only to some specific computers and if there is anything to do about it since i really like chrome the best.

Update:
My computer just crashed while on firefox, so my chrome theory is down the drain. Any one have any idea whats going on? Help please!!
