Windows 8 BSOD Bad Pool

Hi there, i have tried to follow the directions on how to post a BSOD but my computer is clearly unhappy. Using the SF tool for some reason it doesn't have access to my desktop so it puts the files in C:\windows. then when i try to copy to desktop it gives me a permission error. I've uploaded all the files I think the tool made, not sure.

Ever since I installed a new SSD (went from intel 520 to samsung pro 840) i've been getting some errors. I know that it seems pretty clear that its the hard drive but I'm not so sure. Anything you experts can glean from my upload?

thanks!

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!

Unfortunately, the stuff that you uploaded is only shortcuts, not the actual reports.

Please zip up and upload the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump with your next post. That'll get us started.

Thanks for the reply! yep, for some reason, the SF Diag tool does not make a folder on the desktop but rather just files in my C:\windows folder. also, the memory dmp file it makes is 464mb! Not sure how my desktop is unavailable for the program to save it.

i've uploaded the minidump files!

thanks for your help

ok! big development. =) So i ran SF diag again just to make sure I wasn't doing anything silly. It then asked me if I wanted to replace the file on my desktop and im looking at my desktop but nothing is there. I search for the file and its in my secondary hard drive under username -> desktop! I've never seen this. How is my user folder set to my secondary hard drive? very odd. probably should fix that asap....

ive attached the sf diag files

Please check to make sure that you have all Windows Updates.

SSD's were temperamental when they first came out, but their reliability has improved greatly over the last year or two. There are 2 things that MUST be checked on systems with BSOD's and SSD's:
1) That the SSD firmware is the latest available for the SSD
2) That the storage controller drivers on the motherboard are the most recent. They must date from late 2012 or later. This is ALL controllers, not just the one that the SSD is attached to.

One of the memory dumps points to a hardware problem with a disk. Please run this free diagnostic: Hard Drive Diagnostic Procedure

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
