    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

There aren't any memory dump files included in the upload.
When does the BSOD happen? During the boot process or during the shutdown?
There aren't any signs of BSOD's in the WER section of MSINFO32 either - but there are Live Kernel Event (sometimes these are records of unexplained shutdows).

    Please do this:
    Upload Dump Files:
NOTE: If using a disk cleaning utility, please stop using it while we are troubleshooting your issues.
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service. Then post the link to it in your topic so that we can download it.

Also, search your entire hard drive for files ending in .dmp, .mdmp, and .hdmp. Zip up any that you find and upload them with your next post.

Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDumpMore info on dump file options here: Overview of memory dump file options for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2
Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

Only 229 MB RAM free. Please upgrade the RAM on this system (if possible). While waiting to upgrade the RAM, please trim out unneeded startup items (use Task Manager...details view...Startup tab) and only open one program at a time. Severe shortages of RAM (like this) can cause BSOD's.

Only 51 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 66 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Check to be sure that the fans are blowing and that you've blown out the vents with canned air (DO NOT use a vacuum or an air compressor as they can cause damage). Make sure that you use the laptop on a hard surface - preferably with a laptop cooler to help force cool air into it.

Please start out with these free diagnostics: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
If all those pass, then start on these: Additional Hardware Diagnostics
