Solved Memory Dump Power ON

I have installed Windows 8 on my 8 year old PC. Everything works fine except for memory.dmp error after turning on the computer.

Edit: For some reason the error disappeared after changing Shutdown mode from hybrid to the old mode with shutdown.exe.
In the past Windows XP Standby mode often caused errors (e.g. the date suddenly changed to the year 2164). Therefore I presume the memory dump error has something to do with standby.

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!
Also, I've been sick and had a couple of computer issues of my own this past week.

Hybrid mode had caused a lot of problems for users of the Consumer Preview and Release Preview. We haven't seen that many issues recently, but they still do exist.

The condition still exists, you're just avoiding it by not using Hybrid mode. Ensure that all of your drivers are fully updated - but understand that an 8 year old computer just may not be fully compatible with Win8. I'd stick with avoiding the Hybrid mode and hope that that solves your problem on this system.

I had already uploaded the Diagnostic tool infos but when I saw how much time you put in analysing I deleted them. For now everything works fine by avoiding the Hybrid mode. I will re-upload them if the errors return.

Thanks! Just FYI - it takes me about 5-10 minutes to do all of that the first time (thanks to an automated script from a couple of friends of mine). Subsequent memory dumps take even less time.
