BSOD on Boot (SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED)

Hi,
I've tried to install the Preview multiple times and via multiple methods, but every time I try to boot for the first time I receive the error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (USBXHCI.SYS). My laptop is an Asus N61Jv with a USB 3.0 port. From what I could gather, USBXHCI.SYS happens to be a USB 3.0 driver. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

STOP 0x0000007E: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED is a very common bug check, which makes it hard to determine the cause.

Usual causes: Insufficient disk space, Device driver, Video card, BIOS, Breakpoint with no debugger attached, Hardware incompatibility, Faulty system service, Memory, 3rd party remote control,

Make sure you have enough free disk space.

Check on the Asus site for driver updates, all of them and of coarse the USB3 driver.

Check the Win7 System Log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver that is causing bug check 0x7E.

I have the same laptop, Asus N61JV and I can't install windows 8. I have the same error. I tried to change USB 3.0 from xhci to ahci but the same error. I removed everything, change bios to defaults but nothing. Can't install. If i press F8 nothing happens, again that error.

Update all your drivers and check for a newer USB3 driver.

Check you event viewer for any help to find the cause.

Also try a memcheck... but probably it's some kind of hardware incompatibility.

I can't enter windows 8 after installation, I can't even press F8 too see boot options because that error appears before so I can't update USB3 drivers and can't see event viewer. I will try a memcheck, but I think vrosa is right, it's something hardware related. I will wait till windows 8 rtm appears.(hope they will fix this) (the laptop is new and any other system os is working, from linux to windows). thanks for help

Sorry to hear that, did you check the MD5 and SHA1?

Don't use memcheck, use memtest86+ it's a much better RAM testing tool.
RAM- Test with Memtest86+
